I had an amazing stay at the Esplanade Motel in Newcastle! The room was clean and well presented, the staff were welcoming, and check in and out was a breeze. Plus, the comfortable bed and extra towels from the cleaning staff made my stay even better. It's great when everything comes together for a lovely experience!

My girlfriend and sister stayed here over the weekend of the SummerSalt festival. The room was nice and tidy and everything that was provided was essential and practical. I loved how there was a coffee van out the front for coffee which was much needed in the mornings. The only problem we had was with the air conditioner and the temperature when used.

The pool was a hit with our kids for a morning swim... and the coffee cart was great for breakfast!

The Esplanade
I was unhappy that they didn't offer foxtel. They only offer streaming which i don't do. Otherwise things were excellent.

Hi Michael, Thank you for the feedback. We have unfortunately never had foxtel at The Esplanade and when upgrading the TV systems we found that most guests have their own Netflix, Stan, Kao Foxtel etc and all had different priorities. That is why we went with a casting system as have most large hotels as then guests can watch whatever they have on their own portal devices on the TV. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Great little motel on the lake
Great little motel after the recent Reno. Was packed over the Christmas period but was quiet enough. Swimming pool to cool down and coffee wagon out front. Rooms were great and bed super comfortable. My only issue was the showers and trying to get constant temp so as not to burn the kids. Overall would definitely stay there again

Beautiful location. Hotel staff were pleasant on the phone however didn’t physically speak to them. Property looks a bit dated on the outside however the rooms were very well appointed and modern.

The restaurant was great and the chef was very entertaining. The room itself was nice and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was a bit small. It was in a nice quiet area.

The property was easily accessible, the room comfortable, in fact it was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while travelling. Parking is ok, but not really convenient if you have icy to load and unload from the car. The only other thing that annoyed me was the bathroom tap. It did not have full maneuverability as it kept hitting the mirror when trying to turn it.

Lovely Clean Motel
A lovely clean hotel in Warners Bay. It is on a slip road beside a busy main road but far enough away as we did not hear any noise from the traffic. There is even a coffee van on site which is busy with locals.
