Convenient parking and close to airport

Cheap and cheerful. Comfortable bed for the night. Smelt a bit of paint so perhaps a recent refurb has happened!

You get what you pay for!

Pros: Location is a 5 minute walk from the NCL airport terminal.
Cons: Remodel the 1970s decor. Bathroom cleanliness.
This hotel is the prefect example of the saying 'You get what you pay for'. I arrived late at the Newcastle airport with an early morning flight out. How bad could it be? Well... At least it was mostly clean. The hotel is old and needs a remodel. The room was tiny and had no air conditioning which made for an uncomfortable sleep on a warm and muggy night. The bathroom was also tiny and there was mold or something growing around the shower. In the end, the DoubleTree probably would have been a better choice, even at 50 pounds more.

Position idéale quand on arrive tard en avion. Pas beaucoup de traffic aérien, donc silencieux. Petit déj OK, douche et sdb moyen, pommeau de douche non décrochable, dans aucune des chambres.

Overnight stay on 4.7.15

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: It was situated at the airport
Cons: The attitude of the staff.
Location: The hotel was situated near the airport and I used it only as a stop over.
The receptionist did not welcome me nor smile on my arrival. Although he did accompany me to my room as I was having difficulty opening the door. I was rather early for my breakfast but was allowed in as I needed to catch a train, but it seemed a chore to the lady in the restaurant to have to work and said to the cleaner she unfortunately had to work at lunchtime. Overall those I met did not seem to be enjoying their work and gave a bad impression of the hotel in general.

Pros: Comfortable
When booking in the reception clerk didn't even lift his head to greet us. He just mumbled 'booking in are you"

hotel very dated

Posted Jun 2, 2015
the hotel was very run down on the outside. reception and bar areas were nice but the room was terrible. very dated and it looked unclean as soon as I woke up the next day I had to leave. it was really stuffy and I couldn't open the window. the bathroom was all stained and looked dirty too. a refurb is definitely needed.
