Comfortable hotel close to the cityPosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, well appointed with on site parking and a good restaurant.
Cons: The hotel is situated on a busy road, so request a room at the back if traffic noise is an issue.
Location: Close to Newcastle upon Tyne on the main Coast Road. Jesmond Dene well worth a visit. Also easy access to the coast - e.g. Tynemouth and Whitley Bay.
This hotel made a great base for us whilst visiting relatives in the area. It was very close to Newcastle upon Tyne and easy to access from the Coast Road. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The in-house restaurant (Fratellos) was convenient and spacious with a relaxing ambience. The menu was varied, the food delicious and good value for money. The restaurant and hotel staff were attentive, courteous and helpful, all of which made for a very enjoyable stay.

Newcastle hotelPosted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: The convenient location with parking.
Cons: Light through the glass bathroom door is very bad in the night. You need a "blue light" in the bathroom for night visits! Restaurant service was poor.
Location: The university and its museums are just a few minutes walk away. The town centre, shops, and the quayside are all easily reached on foot or by metro.
This was a very convenient location for us and just a couple of minutes from Jesmond metro station.

Great hotel...even better food!Posted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
Have stayed here frequently for business. Hotel and accomodation is fantastic value for money. Restaurant food is some of the nicest if not best hotel food I have had. Although didn't have as good a meal in the bar..even though it's the same kitchen. Excellent stay overall would recommend.

Excellent hotel for the moneyPosted May 21, 2015 on Hotels
Very clean. Very up to date and very good service. The only issue we had was getting a queen bed with a bath. We could have a double with a bath or a queen with a shower, but if that's the worst thing I can come up with, I think the hotel still ranks a solid 4.
