Excellent central hotel

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: Design. Facilities. Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Value for money.
Cons: Very little - serve cocktail napkins with drinks to catch any drips or spills would be a suggestion.
Location: Well-place to reach all the attractions, restaurants and other sights in the centre of Newcastle and Gateshead.
I booked this hotel for my parents who are very critical travellers (Yorkshire folk). But they were delighted with every aspect of their stay and I understand why. The hotel is fresh and modern with a comfortable and stylish lounge/foyer where we enjoyed some excellent cocktails. The room was attractive, spacious and comfortable and very well-equipped. The choice at breakfast was exemplary and the staff throughout their stay were friendly and could not do enough to be of service. A special mention in dispatches for Katie the breakfast manager who was so warm and welcoming.

Nice over night stay

Good, clean hotel with a central location. Great choice for a over night stay. The biggest issue is parking, hotel guests should not pay for parking, considering the price per night.

King bed not up to expectations

Posted Aug 13, 2016
Pros: Staff and the rest of the facilities were excellent Very central for all amenities
Cons: Communication and marketing of Premium King beds
Stayed on 11th August Booked premium King room. Whilst sleeping rolled over and fell between what was 2 single beds pushed together. No locking device to keep them together. Therefore slept on a single bed for the rest of the night very disappointing and perhaps a safety issue. Not informed on check in that the King bed was 2 singles pushed together The top bedding was king sized and prevented observation of the separate beds underneath

Excellent stay at hotel indigo again

Great hotel close to station and all of the cities attractions. Comfortable beds and great facilities. The balcony rooms are great in summer evenings to enjoy the complimentary bottle of Prosecco in your room.
