Pros: The rooms and the location. It is right next to the station but you could not hear anything
Cons: Staff attitude. Bigger towels
Location: Close to all the shops, pubs, restaurants and the great night life Newcastle has to offer.
The hotel is in a nice central location, handy for all that Newcastle has to offer. Rooms are clean and of a good size, towels a bit small for the larger person, like myself, but other than that a nice hotel. The attitude of the staff however leaves something to be desired. They came across couldn't care less. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was it advertised car parking, which a lot of the hotels do not have, and when you follow the car park signs round the rear of the hotel you see a very large carpark. I asked at the desk as to whether I needed a ticket for the car to show that I was a hotel guest and was told to fill in a form on the desk and that would do. Later on when we returned to the hotel after a meal I enquired as to whether I needed to vacate the car park at the same time as vacating the room or whether the car could stay there until 1o'clock. The receptionist asked where I was parked so I told her and was told that I could leave the car as long as I liked since that was not the hotel parking but the railway car park and it would cost me £16-00 for parking. The staff not having told me that the hotel only has 6/8 spaces at the front 10/12 at the depending on the number of hotel vehicles using them. As a first time visitor to the hotel I would expect the staff to tell their guests ,when asked, to explain the parking situation. But as I said before they left a lot to be desired in the customer relations department.

Really handy for a few nights, right beside the railway station (I didn't hear any noise from the station in my room at all) and very helpful and chatty staff. Very good location and easy enough to walk to anywhere in central Newcastle.

The room was very dimly lit, the free minibar was just an orange juice water and a kit kat and there was no space to park in their carpark so had to pay £16 ontop of the £90 i had already paid
