Faulty TowersPosted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: Breakfasts, breakfast and reception staff.
Cons: Attitude of certain consierge staff. We observed a guest being told off for parking in wrong place. Maybe better signage required, we came by train.
Location: Fantastic location, with great views over Tyne with some rooms having view of Tyne bridge
Staff generally good but consierge bordering on rude. Told to take luggage 'downstairs' leaving it in a dining room. Came back for it after checking in and it had been moved, another member of staff eventually found it in another room. wedding in hotel and didn't get much sleep for guest shouting slamming door ALL night. Ordered newspaper for morning, did not arrive on phoning reception had been left outside another room. Shower good but someone knocked on door ( no ID) saying from maintenance and that shower was leaking. Had no ID so eventually duty manager required to vouch for him. Shower leaking had to move rooms. Next morning tried to have shower but water cold. Phoned reception they said boiler had tripped. Told reception very unhappy with our stay! On checking out hotel refunded our bill, apologised and said we'd been very unlucky and the hotel usually functioned better than that. breakfast and dining room staff very good, reception staff very good. Maybe we were just unluckly but by leaving these comments I hope no one else has to endure a stay like ours.

Lovely hotel but....Posted Oct 26, 2015
Really lovely hotel and very polite and helpful staff. I can't fault the room it was very nice only down side is no iron or ironing board in room. But can phone down for one and the big issue for me was the parking. Only about 8 spaces for the whole hotel. It has a few more just outside the hotel pay and display with a max stay of 4hours which is rediculous so had to park ages away as there where no spaces which is abit annoying having to lug you're suitcase around the streets to you're hotel.

Awful noise from wedding in hotel. It was like sleeping at a disco at 2 am.

Un hotel para no volverPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: Realmente no

Did not disappoint.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Five min walk from the train station. Close to all the night-life without being kept awake if wanting a quieter night in.
Cons: Air con could have came in handy one night as when we opened the window rain came in so had to keep it closed.
Location: In the heart of everything. It's all just a five min walk. Amazing!
Second time that I have been to this hotel and it was just as good as the first time. The breakfast was a little bit of a let down and gave constructive criticism at the time as apparently it was a new chef. But the staff were amazing. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Could be doing with air-con but that's a very small matter in the UK. Will be staying here again and recommend it to anyone that's thinking about visiting Newcastle.

Nice little find!Posted Aug 1, 2015
Good location near castle and main station. Front desk was fantastic. The lobby was not the same standard as in the bedrooms.
