Perfect position in central newcastle.
Hotel reception was very friendly and professional, even supplying earplugs on request.
Parking was free on site and secure.
All aspects of hotel clean and tidy, lots of eating and drinking options on site.
Breakfast in bedroom was great.
Would definitely stay again..

We love staying at the Vermont. A fantastic location, love the bar and the rooms and lovely. We would have rated it 5 stars but the breakfast is not great. It’s not because it’s buffet style, it’s more the quality is not great and it’s not kept well either.
We still love it but would be 5 stars once the breakfast is better

Very disappointing overnight break the noise we experienced throughout the night was disgraceful from both within the hotel and outside the hotel. I have tried to speak with the duty manager regarding my experience and have had no response. For an hotel that markets itself as a luxury hotel it was not the experience myself and my two daughters expected.
unfortunately difficult to get to sleep on floor 11 with nightclub directly above you, but on a positive note staff were great always polite and helpful

Excellent location and very friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately in the Aparthotel there seems to be a major issue with hot water supply and pressure so a shower on Saturday evening was lukewarm and then just no water at all. Apparently this is an ongoing problem especially when everyone is using showers in the building. In fairness we were offered complimentary breakfast for all 4 of us.

Excellent breakfast, lovely bar area. The room was clean and decorated stylishly. Staff helpful and a really great location. Walkable to bars and restaurants. No downsides. Would definitely recommend.
We were lucky to get a space in the tiny carpark. The door cards didn't work so I had to go back to the reception to get them re authorized. The view from our room was mainly brick wall. The cold water tap on the bath didn't work. So we had to use the shower to cool the hot water. The bathroom sink took ages to empty. We wanted to visit the rooftop bar for a drink and see the sights but was told we couldn't as we hadn't booked, we didn't know that it was booking only as hotel guests we thought it might be easy to get up there. Very disappointed
Had a great time. Staff,food and room excellent however got home to find they charged my card for £211. Appallingly customer service a month on although they agree its a mistake still no refund. We have booked for later in the year but because of this going to cancel.

Great location, stunning facade, cold and took a while to be warm it uo. Charging £2 for what should be complimentary water - when yiu have paid above the going rate seems cheap. Leaving bag with concierge without tagging system was not professional and WiFi was intermittent in room. No facilities for e-cars
I was a little concerned when they had my reservation for one night instead of two. Not sure if it was an Expedia issue or the hotels’. The problem was resolved within a few minutes. All was well.

We had to ask to be moved into a different room with quieter surroundings and the reception staff were great in sourcing another room that was more appropriate for our stay.
The breakfast had a great selection and the bar was relaxed and quiet on both the Saturday and Sunday of our stay.

Beware!! When you book this place they dont tell you there are TWO different locations. We booked the Vermont because we wanted to be close to a wedding venue. Foudnnoutnon chrckin that our room was at another location which does not have the amenities listed for the hotel! No breakfast, no gym, no parking!! And to add on to the misery our room was directly over aloud club so it was terribly noisy until 330am!!!

Good location somewhat lacking in customer service
Overall Comfortable room in a quiet location within walking distance of restaurants. Some management and staff could do with some training in customer service .
Great apartment, lovely concierge and really central but bring your earplugs - its really busy and noisy on a saturday night till late! Better directions when you confim booking would help to find the aparthotel would help too.

Enjoyed staying in this traditional English hotel, right next to a very historic site - the Keep in Newcastle! Invited in family to enjoy the afternoon Tea which was fun. Appreciated the quietness, the friendly staff and the good food.

Food in restaurant had very limited choice. Were told we could order from bar menu when we enquired earlier in the day but when we got to table it was only from restaurant menu. Burgers/ fish and chips. Disappointing for a restaurant menu.
