Not what I expected, don’t waste your $
Poor service at the front desk, something I did not except at a higher end resort. Employees have no energy, did not go out of their way to make the experience great. This is a sign of bad mgmt, they should be on their employees. Have secret shoppers monitor the resort. The place also needs to be remodeled, it’s a little dated, the shower water pressure is not good. Lonely rooms, very dim lights. The Pelican cannot compete with higher end resort such as the Four Seasons or Sofitels. The Irvine company should let the big hotel chains handle the hotel sector. It’s unfortunate this place wasn’t what I expected.
