Saturday Night Coast

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: Clean, good location
Cons: Would like it to be on the beach but this can't happen
Location: Good food right next door.
Nice enough place. Not good or bad but would stay again. The room is very basic and was clean. Is a couple blocks from the beach and there are many stores within walking distance.

Great spot

Posted Sep 15, 2017
Great spot close to the water! Our room was the perfect size. No air conditioning in the room, only a big box fan. It made it loud amd slightly unpleasant to have the window open and hear all the people/traffic outside especially since it was so hot in our room. It was super quiet when the window was closed. The next door restaurant had AMAZING food and great prices. Nice little spot. Definitely look forward to stay there again!

Staff was very nice. Beds super comfortable. Price was good for a holiday weekend. Only complaint......no air conditioning. I know it doesn't get too hot down there but it was very warm when we stayed.

Nosy! Not really worth it

Posted Sep 10, 2017
The staff was very friendly, so was the owner. The Hotel is facing HWY101 so super noisy. It you want to stay super cheap go to Money Saver, better location. Otherwise, please upgrade!

Posted Aug 30, 2017
Parked in handicap with placard. We had to move....compact handicap they say!!!! What???Came back later to no place to park....had to park across st.. There's a full-sized long bed/ lifted GMC truck with no handicap placard, parked in the compact handicap spot....and was still there at 10:30 next morning!!! Never have heard about a "compact handicap " parking spot!!! Doubt that's legal....NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN!!!

Boycott Days Inn

Posted Aug 27, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everythink
It started out by being way over priced.. (Eclipse) Had to change rooms because my wife uses a wheel chair. No elevator and not shown in ads as such. Good thing they were able to give us a ground floor. This was done by the clerk on duty, not the manager (owner?). Clerk was nice and accommodating. Only time we had contact with her. Bedding not changed once in the four nights stay. Did not make up room one night. It appeared that the bedding was not changed before we stayed. Stains on sheets. Manager (owner?) did not seem concerned about anything.

No air conditioning/circulation.

Posted Jul 9, 2017
No air conditioning. Yes, it is cool on the Oregon coast but when the sun comes through the single window in what is basically a cement box, cooling or air circulation is needed. The owners seemed like a nice family and it appeared they made an effort to try to keep it clean; however, the hotel was old and run down and needs new paint, carpeting, furnishings, bath fixtures and modern temperature control system. I expected more for $100 / night.
