Howard johnson in Pennsylvania is not good. I was very pleasantly surprised, this place was awesome. If i ever get back, here is where I will stay. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!!

Room was nice, room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was very nice, and helpful. Breakfast was good. There were a fair amount of options. It was very crowded though on Sunday and tough get through the crowd. It was only a 10 or so minute drive to everywhere, but it is a little inconvenient to pack up a toddler and infant every time you wanted to go somewhere. I would definitely stay again for the price you really can’t beat it.

The price for the area can't be beat. Our room was clean and updated. Complementary breakfast was standard yet appreciated, as was the water/tea/coffee station that is always available.

We always look for Continental breakfasts, free breakfast We arrived on Thursday and Friday morning. There was no fresh fruit. No fruit at all.. No pastries, a few tiny muffins and no meat with the eggs. Nothing... I choose your hotel because of the free breakfast included in the price which I think is a great deal. We had to go out for breakfast both days so I don't know where the great deal was Also, we enjoyed the pool in the hot tub and we knew there'd be families and children there. What we didn't know is there'd be no supervision and no staff checking and it was out of control and couldn't enjoy hot tub or the pool..

So much value here! A cute, clean hotel w. comfy beds & a free breakfast! The pool & hot tub were an added bonus. The only downside is the location, it is in a strip mall area not downtown, or near the beaches, but free parking, and for the price could not be beat.

Our toilet paper holder was broken, the exhaust fan in bathroom to vent the steam was broken, and one night we had a leak from the room above into our room. They really need to fix the broken things and maintain the property better. All staff was very nice though.

Wonderful stay at the Wyndham HJ in Middletown. Conveniently located with easy access to Newport. Parking was easy and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend this hotel.

I love everything about this place! The room was humongous (with the two beds) and the ceiling was HIGH.. you won’t feel cramped at all. Over-all it was well worth the price (if not more!). LOTS of free parking too..

My family and I had a great time with you guys, the staff was very friendly and the property was so clean. There is so much seating in the public area with fireplaces and sectional couches which makes it very family -friendly for people traveling with kids . Applebee's is connected to the hotel which was so convenient for my family. The pool is heated which is a plus! And the hot tub was nice too! Breakfast is served hot and everything was fresh. From one hospitality worker to another, thank you guys for everything! We will return!

I think the location of the hotel, in Middletown, bordering the Newport line is the excellent place and convenient to all the amenities in the Newport area. It is also very easy to travel on 138 or route 114 to head out to Cape Cod. I have stayed here in the past several times, and always enjoy coming back

Price was great, room was super spacious and updated. We only stayed one night for a college visit but would stay again if visiting the Newport area. We arrived in town around 8pm, decided to have dinner first and I received a call from the front desk asking if everying was OK and if we were still planning on staying, which I thought was very courteous.

Evening staff at front desk was not friendly. Window drapes torn on bottom and had dog poop stains on it. Plus is pet friendly and only cost $15 for one night Pool was okay but heavy on bleach Breakfast was ok since it’s free.
