Not great, and I am not a picky traveler

I will say the room was clean enough, but the shower was iffy. I was concerned when I noticed the door flip over lock was broken off of the door frame. The air conditioning only worked after I restared it. Coming in after work to a room that was hot every day was frustrating. I know another guest had the same issue and his complaint to hotel staff was unheeded. No fridge in the room. Shower was stall only. No tub...which was fine except you had to balance everything on the one wire soap dish. No ledge for putting shampoo onto, nor one to put your feet on for leg shaving. When asking for late checkout, was told to call in the morning, then each time I called they said to call back in another hour. Supposed to be a feature of joining their reward program. Restaurant and bar had great service, however only went once. Bed was comfortable. View was pretty. But I don't plan on returning to this hotel.

I really like the view.

Didn't like the fact it was no microwave in the room. No vending machine on the floor for snack. Only had snacks downstairs which was costly. The front desk clerk was the best.

Needs some updating

I thought the staff is very accommodating. The staff was excellent. The rooms need updating, painting. Beds seem old. It was fine for a 2 night stay.

Amazing Stay!

The hotel was amazing. The staff was so friendly and nice. I felt like a true honored guest there! Next time I come I will be staying there again!

Very Convenient for Attractions

Pros: I liked the waterfront location and breakfast view of the harbor.
Location: My first venture was over to Fort Monroe. Then a short drive up to the Mariners Museum. I saved the Air Museum next door for the next visit.
I found this to be a very centrally located hotel for my visits to many attractions in Hampton, Newport News, and Norfolk.

outstanding hotel and accomodations. This definately was one of my better hotels booked thru Hotels.com All staff were very friendly and courteous.
