Accident waiting to happen.

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Location: Great location to either walk to or have food delivered.
Our bed plat form had 3 bars sticking out on one side of bed, (which I hit several times with my legs). The room only had one chair in it. Bed comfort ok. The worst was the toliet which you had to keep flushing about 15 times to get it to completely flush. Check in personnel was very nice and knowledgable of current surrounds. Not sure if I would or would not choose again.

Smelled horribly like smoke

Posted Oct 17, 2016
The biggest thing that turned me off about the hotel was at the hotel smelled like smoke and it smelled like smoke so bad that it stayed on my clothes. The hotel was clean but the smell was so bad that it felt like no one ever sprayed any for breeze or had a glade plug-in to take care of the smell.

Quick stay, good staff, pestered by locals

Posted Aug 26, 2016
Not a bad motel, staff was very pleasant, room was clean, was pestered by a local for $20 for a "taxi and pampers" repeatedly before leaving, the hotel called the police because she was asking everyone and even knocking on doors.

Hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was good, kind of noisy at night and in the morning.

Quick stay

Some of the staff need a customer service skills class. It's an okay place to stay for one or two nights.

Cheap hotel bad area

Posted Aug 6, 2016
Pros: Price and most of the staff.
Cons: This hotel is so old and run down it really needs a major renovation, which is unlikely given its location.
Location: Although area around hotel seems bad and crime-ridden, very convenient to NASA and AFB. Pretty much right in the middle of Hampton.
Cost was $50/night so price was good. Area around hotel was bad. Poor, run down. Looked like drug dealers and prostitutes frequented the parking lot. Room was terribly run down and dirty. Reeked of cigarette smoke even though this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Free breakfast was awful and staff running breakfast was unfriendly and bored with her job. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Room service cleaning was very good for the challenges they faced.

Misled.

Posted Aug 3, 2016
Pros: Price
Cons: Appearance
Location: Location is fine, plenty of things to do nearby.
Hotel looked nothing like the photos. Area around hotel smelled of urine. Seemed very unclean. Immediately checked out after looking at area and room.
