Pros: Clean mattress, sheets smelled of a hint of bleach.
Location: Stayed here for 3 nights. A lot of restaurants and stores nearby, as well as the Coliseum.
Smooth check in. Indoor pool and hot tub was over-chlorinated, pool was over heated! My eyes were burning from the chlorine and there were no towels to dry yourself off in the pool area and no one answered the emergency phone in the pool area when we dialed "0". Ice machines were broken on every floor, had to go down to the main lobby to get ice from staff. Shower in room started chilly, ended lukewarm.

Pros: Hotel was clean. Mattress was clean and and comforter/sheets smelled of a hint of bleach, which made me comfortable.
Cons: Shower did not get warm enough, to avoid steam? The temp of the indoor pool was very high, chlorine was so strong, my eyes were burning.
Stayed here for 3 nights. A lot of restaurants and stores nearby, as well as the Coliseum.

Location: The location was close to other cities that we visited, such as Suffolk and Norfolk.
After driving for over four hours, the only issue was that when we arrived to our room, the bathroom door was locked. Unfortunately, it took over 15 minutes for someone to come to the room so we had to use the restroom in the lobby.

Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness of rooms and pool.
Location: Virginia beach was great.
Horrible. AC didn't work in main building, although it did work in the room. Pool had globs of hair in the bottom. Ice machines broken on every floor so you had to go to the kitchen to get ice from staff. Beds were as hard as concrete. The worst part of the stay was when we came back in the evening (from Virginia Beach) only to find our bed made but the pillows were thrown in the chair next to it, no toilet paper, no towels, no toiletries...nothing. All they did was flip the sheet. We called the staff downstairs to no avail. All they did was give us some shampoo since that was one of the items that wasn't replaced. Seen the cleaning lady the next morning and she told us she had a funeral and wasn't there yesterday and that maintenance cleaned that day and they were lazy and didn't do anything. For the price we paid to stay here, I definitely would recommend staying someplace else. Spoke with hotel manager after we returned and he assured us he would refund our stay. Hasn't happened yet, but we shall see. I've stayed at plenty hotels and this was unacceptable, especially for a HIlton.

Several Basic Service Flaws in My Stay

Pros: Property is maintained and rooms were clean.
Cons: Service.
Location: Just off Mercury with lots of stores and restaurants nearby.
- No ironing board in room at check-in - Maid turned off my room refrigerator for no reason -- stuff inside got warm - No way to set time manually on alarm clock -- it was a constant 1hr 40min behind - Had to go to front desk to get more toilet paper, as maid did not replace two rolls that were essentially all used up - Spotty service in made-to-order breakfast (e.g., waiting 25 minutes for soda even though asked several times) Will look to stay at another hotel where service is better, especially given the price relative to other hotels in the area.

It took 2 hours to get wash cloths and towels

After getting out of the pool Sunday morning the hotel cleaning staff told us the linens were in the washer. It took 2 hours to get them. The air conditioning was broke all through the hallways only worked in the bedroom. Our stay was free but very disappointing.

Basically, our stay was good. There is a safety feature that I think should be considered and that is in the tub there should be a safety mat it maybe additional bars. Our bed was left on made one day.
