Centralized hotel location for historical sites.

Pros: The location, the quiet atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. All of the staff went beyond the call of duty to accommodate us during our stay.
Cons: The shower curtain in room 204 had soap scum on the bottom of it and needed to be taken down and either washed or replaced.
Location: We did not experience a dull moment. The shopping malls and the historic sites were everywhere. The trip to Colonial Williamsburg took us back in time
The Jameson Inn is located close to shopping malls and historic sites. During our stay we made trips to historic sites such as Colonial Williamsburg,Yorktown and Norfolk and returned to the Jameson Inn at the end of each day. Shopping malls with Kroger stores, Wal-Mart and K-mart were located nearby and enabled us to shop for anything and everything that was needed or wanted. The continental breakfast far exceeded our expectations. I was figuring on bagels and muffins, but there was a full continental breakfast choice from cold cereals to hot waffles to gravy and biscuits that was delicious and fresh every morning! The rooms were spacious with very comfortable furniture and beds. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The staff was friendly and my first impression was made by the young lady who greeted me the night that I walked into the Inn to check in. Her hospitality and friendliness started the stay off just right and continued throughout the week. It was one of the most comfortable and welcoming experiences that I have encountered.

The staff were very nice! a few small issues that were easily fixed. No biggy. I liked the hotel overall the issues were MINOR.

YUCKY!!

Two night stay to visit family. The hotel has a great location and nice staff but it was YUCKY! Our non-snoking room had obviously been smoked in, our ironing board was heavily stained and had a cigarette burn on it. The bedding smelled dingy, the hotel staff was nice about putting a "sanitizer box" in our room but it just left a little bit of a lemon smell in our room. They were booked solid so they couldn't move us. we sprayed bath and body perfume in bedding so we could sleep on it, like I said the staff was nice....but that's about it:( you get what you pay for!

Nice motel, free breakfast, friendly staff

Pros: The friendly staff. Refrigerator and microwave in room
Cons: Pool and spa was out of order. The showers were terrible. Room seemed dirty with a lot of stains in carpets and furniture
Location: Motel is not close to anything but a strip mall
Stayed at Motel last year and came back this year. But this time pool and spa were closed. We suggested to staff that we may have to change Motels and they upgrated our room. I am guessing that is the most they could do for us. We will not be staying there next year

Overall the hotel was okay. The pillows were only half pillows. I had to call the front desk because the people in the room above us were having a party, and got very loud and lots of banging at almost midnight. The staff was very responsive. For the price, it served our purpose. Only really needed a place to sleep.

Just OK, kind of sketchy clientele

This is a hotel that allows pets and weekly rentals. The indoor pool was nice for the daughter. The free breakfast was great for the 3 of us. The shower was hot with pressure. The bed was comfortable. I've stayed at other Jameson hotels, but this one needs some TLC and may not be the best place to take a family.

Good hotel, good price, good location

Chose this hotel as a last minute option. For the price, this hotel offered everything that I needed. The location was close to all of the shopping and entertainment. Also, breakfast was included.
