The worst hotel I've ever stayed at

There was mold next to the AC unit that I had to get maintenance to remove.... the AC unit constantly had running water coming from it all night that they would not fix....The refrigerator and bathroom was dirty... Carpets were stained and had a smell....Because of lack of money my son and I had to clean the unit ourselves to utilize for the week....We stayed for 7 days and was promised a cleaning by staff on day 5 no one ever showed...We went to complain so they scheduled a cleaning for days 6 no one ever showed again....I will never stay at this hotel again....It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life!!

Told the front desk that the air was not working and by the time we came back a new air conditioner had been put in.I was attending a 3 day conference.Staff was very friendly

Pros: Friendly staff and clean rooms
Cons: Cushions on the door easy cheap-ish fix. The doors slamming and shaking my room waking me up I don't think I could stay there again.
Location: very close to food shopping museums but not right on top of it
I had scheduled a room for my boyfriends and mine fifth anniversary and a week before we were suppose to leave he was denied his leave from work. I now had this room with one bed. I called down to see if I could change it to a double bedroom and they were very helpful with that. On the way down from New York we ran into some traffic well a lot of traffic and we were late getting to check in almost 4 hours. We called and again very happy to help us. I have stayed at many hotels in this area and the lady that check us in was the friendly's person I have met. I only have two complaints. ONE had to ask for towels from house keeping or if we wanted towels we had to come down to the front desk with our dirty towels to trade them in. Two the Doors to the halls could use some cushion so they do not slam every time someone on the floor closes their door your door vibrates and wakes you up in the morning. In fact that was the reason we did not stay here again when we came down again we stayed across the street.

Suburban Hotels needs to concentrate on cleaning their rooms. Shelving, walls and many other surfaces were sticky from never having been cleaned in obviously years. Nicotine build up is scary. Had to leave window open to air room out.

Awful experience

I think that it had to be the worst hotel stay that I've ever had. When I arrived, cigarette smoke was so thick in the lobby that I couldn't hardly breathe. When I got to my room, I put my bag down on the table and took my shoes off. THE CARPET WAS STICKY!! I couldn't believe it. I'd never seen a sticky carpet. I had to walk around with something on my feet at all times. Most hotels have coffee with small packs of sugar and creamer. There was nothing here. It was an efficiency type of room but I would have never used anything there due to the overall cleanliness of the room. If I had not prepaid, I would have left.

Did not even have soap in the bathroom! Old, dirty sheets, one light switch for the whole room.
