Room cleans. Staff friendly.

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: It's cleanliness, outside appearance, and the staff.
Cons: With the door problems, we did NOT feel secure. No descent restaurants/eating places nearby.
Location: Nothing there. No descent eating--no shopping places.
Needs to be updated and renovated. Mattress needs changing to a more luxurious bedding. TV needs to be updated. Bathroom commode flushes but sometimes continues to run. Bath tub floor is spongy and feels lobserved. Lamps need 3-way light bulbs. Entrance Door does not seal and the deadbolt lock is broken.

Close to Fort Eustis

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Pros: Liked the new look, loved the room, and it was so clean and quiet!
Cons: Just the breakfast- needed variety and bacon sometimes. Seemed to run out of bananas frequently.
We stayed here 2 yrs. ago, but was pleasantly surprised to see rooms were completely remodeled since our last visit. Wonderful place- quiet, comfortable, and very, very clean! We stayed for 5 nights visiting family at Ft. Eustis and were very happy with staff too. Very friendly, helpful people, and the cleaning lady did an exceptional job cleaning our room! Only one complaint-breakfast needed some variety-there was sausage every day, what about bacon sometimes? I would recommend this hotel greatly!

Not What The Review Rating Says It Is

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Pros: Staff
Cons: Get rid of the bed bugs
Location: Didn't stay in area
Booked this last minute based solely on the overall review rating. During check-in the lobby looked nice and the staff was very nice. Got to the room and the first thing we always do is look under the sheets and mattresses for bed bugs. Wife found one immediately and then another. They exchanged rooms for us and samething more bed bugs. We checked out and went to another hotel. Overall I don't think this is a bad hotel, but the obviously they have a serious bed bug problem that is going on. Stay here at your own risk!

Sehr ruhiges Hotel zum Chillen

Posted Aug 1, 2016
Pros: Die Ruhe und der Pool
Cons: nein

I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations at the Mulberry Inn. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable, as was the pillow. We did not have breakfast there, but it was available. The clientele were all very friendly and helpful. I will stay there again. I enjoyed my weekend there.

suited our purpose but would recommend updates

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: Hotel staff were very courtious, especially the staff on the breakfast area. Internet worked well, as did the old style TV. Good lighting options.
Cons: locks on doors need to be replaced, bedding needs updating, carpet needs replacing, TV's need updating.
Location: location was near many things to do.
hotel room door lock had issues with locking, towels weren't always replaced daily, but the sheets were clean, the towels were replaced daily if we reminded the staff and all staff were very friendly and willing to help when asked.

Not the 4.0 that the reviews stated!!!!

1st the staff with the exception of the day I checked out was not concerned about the issues I brought forth. First was there was NO SHAMPOO in the entire Hotel, I had to walk across the drive my self to there other hotel and ask for some shampoo the day I arrived, when I met the housekeeping lady the morning I checked out they still had no Shampoo to restock the rooms, she said Monday, we were there Thurs-Sat. The shower curtain rod could have come out of the wall at any minute, we had to be very careful when pulling the shower curtain. The refrigerator was broken and the racks had to be put in backward to keep the food in the fridge from falling out when you opened the door. The television remote would turn the TV on and adjust volume but not change the channel, told them the first night and they said they would have maintenance take care of it, stayed that way the entire time. The stay was the worst of the three hotels we stayed at over the two weeks I was on the road. would not recommend or stay again, I would drive farther to have the amenities I am paying for be available.
