"Boutique" hotel? Room disappointing.

Luckily through Expedia, I did not have to pay the full price in staying at the Old Stone Inn. When researching hotels, their website showed photos of lovely rooms giving the impression that it was worth spending more money than staying at one of the other chain hotels in Niagara Falls. Our room needed some repairs and updating, the heating/air unit cover fell off and difficult to put back on, the only entrance after 10:00pm (?) was walking the hallways passing through one area that smelled (dogs allowed in this area? Or was it a spray to cover up a smoking area?). Our room though was clean and comfortable, quiet, location great for walking to sites and restaurants, but the "Boutique" naming? $18cad per day to park the car in their lot is a bit excessive. It's a fine place to stay, just not for the pricing they charge. Definitely look for discounts if you want to stay here.
