Good for price

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: comfortable beds
Cons: internet connections , tv channels, can provide free breakfast
Location: Away from the tourist gambling madness but not too far from the falls.
The hotel is not too close to the falls but walkable distance. The beds are good queen size. Good for families. we got some extra charges for parking.

OK hotel, walking distance to the falls

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: It was clean, away from the crowds but close enough to the falls.
Cons: Refrigerator in room, separate shampoo and conditioner instead of 2 in 1.
Location: The walk to the falls was about 10 minutes, there are indian restaurants close by and a pizza place. The bus line stop is right out front.
The Ramada Inn is close enough to walk to the falls. It is away enough from all the crowded areas. Parking was $14. There isn't a refrigerator in the room, only a coffee maker. We weren't there long enough to swim in the pool. They offered $10 off at IHOP but their prices are outrageous for breakfast! Next time I will walk to the buffet down the road or go to Tim Hortons! I paid less for our dinner at Zappi's than our breakfast at IHOP. (Great dinner at Zappi's too) The hotel was a nice place to stay for the price. The employees were all helpful and courteous.

Good Value

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Location and value. Rooms are quite expensive during the high summer season. Was a good price and a decent location. IHop onsite was nice too.
Cons: A few more towels would be nice. 3 bath towels for 2 ladies? nope. Although I'm sure if we called housekeeping, they would have brought more
Location: Walking distance to Fallview Casino and Horseshoe Falls... about an 8 to 10 min walk. 15 to 20 minute walk to Clifton Hill!
Checked in a bit early, and getting our room was no problem. We were given a discount coupon for the Outback for $20 off with the purchase of 2 entrees and one for $10 off at IHop with a $25 dollar purchase. Used them both. Parking was an extra $14 per night. The one thing I hate, really HATE is that ridiculous NF tourist fee. Really??? They have already got inflated prices at all the restaurants, and we have already dumped money into their local economy for tours, and sourvenirs.. and they have to attach yet another TAX? To be clear, it's not just this hotel.. it's everywhere you go. I live in the Greater Toronto Area.. when tourists visit the CN Tower, or Ripley's Aquarium, they're not charged an extra tax because it is a tourist area.. so why on earth should Niagara feel it's ok to do that??????? On a more positive note, the staff was courteous and professional. We also requested a slightly later checkout, and again, that was not a problem.. ( 12:00 instead of 11:00). The pool looked nice from outside.. we didn't actually use it..partly because it's totally visible from the street! Not sure I would have liked every pedestrian passing by to see me. All in all, I would definitely stay there again if room rates were an issue for me.

Cozy hotel, vintage charm

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Coming in on a Saturday, hotel is over priced. But when looking at all other hotels in the area, pretty much the same because of the day. Room was clean, vintage elegant charm. Nice hot tub. Pillows were a little small, and air conditioning was noisy, and motel like. Nice stay though, thanks for the front desk lady for being pleasant and adding a freebee. But be warned that the hotel does not have a fridge in the room or safety deposit box. Fridge rental is 10 dollars a day.

This hotel says you have a falls view, however it's no where near one it's about a 15-20 min walk from everything the pictures make it look way nicer than it is! Horrible over priced hotel do not go! Our walls and bathrooms weren't clean our ac didn't work and the bed sheets were dirty! Discussing for the price just awful!

It is close to attractions.

For a Ramada chain this hotel is run down, dirty and is in dire need of an upgrade. The carpet in the room was filthy. Room was not cleaned until 3 pm after we called. The in house IHOP IS GROSSLY OVER PRICED and was not very good. There are much better deals in NF than this.

The staff was excellent the hotel need some updates AC old fashion, to many knats in room, spent too much money on eating out no microwave or fridge. Hotel was in the perfect location to the Falls and tourist attractions.
