Wife and I had a great time

Location: Pellar Estate is nextdoor. You can walk but we went for a late dinner so we drove over because the area between the two places isn't well lit.
We spent a night at the Riverbend. The room was very clean and warm on a chilly February weekend. Although its away from the main town its not far at all (very short drive). My wife and I previously stayed at a B&B in town and had a great time but this time decided to give this place a try and we weren't disappointed. You are literally in the middle of many vineyards. It was quiet and very peaceful. The grounds seem really nice however with the cold weather we didn't spend too much time outdoors. We didn't eat at their restaurant instead opted to do lunch and dinner at some of the Wineries we visited. Overall I'd recommended this place if you're looking for a peaceful retreat.

In the vineyards next to two great wine estates

Pros: Location
Cons: Change the Queen beds to an actual Queen size
Location: Wine tastings, walking, cycling and great restaurants
Great location for walking trails, scenery and wine tastings. Only problem we had was the beds, definitely not a Queen, we have a Queen bed at home; this is more a double bed; so if booking a room with a 'Queen' bed, it's going to be smaller

This is a beautiful property that is probably even better in the summer. Our room was large and well-appointed: even had a fireplace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only quibble was with the spotty WiFi.

Beautiful hotel out of a storybook

Pros: The charming feel, large room size, fireplace
Cons: WIFI access
Location: Old town Niagara-on-the-lake is right around the corner with shopping, food, art galleries and spas. Wineries are also placed around the location
Beautiful Inn in wine country near some world-renowned wineries. Very clean and charming with large room and bathroom. Only real complaint would be the wifi. They say they have free wifi but it kept cutting out. We had to call down to front desk a few times but no matter what our wifi kept disconnecting. I think it might have been because we were in one of the back rooms and perhaps too far away but I feel like that should be mentioned as the room prices aren't inexpensive. A credit definitely should have been placed on our stay. Other than that our stay was wonderful, peaceful, quiet with a beautiful fireplace and friendly staff.

Pros: Its intimacy - they hotel makes you feel very comfortable. It was decorated for Christmas and it gave off a ve The king bed was extremely comfortable
Cons: Nothing!!
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario has many great hotels BUT if you are looking for a special warm this is the place. particularly beautiful in the winter.
We only stayed one night; wish we were there longer. Each room has a gas fireplace. The night we stayed it was gently snowing. The room was so classy, comfortable and roomy. The restaurant had excellent food and service. The hotel is small and very intimate - A awesome experience. I have nothing but great things to say. Plan to make it a pre-Christmas tradition.

Excellent food

Pros: We enjoyed the dinners and the Riverbend Wine from their own vineyard.
Cons: Upkeep of the facilities, e g furniture, could be improved.
Location: Near to Peller Estates and Rief Winery.
We experienced very friendly service and helpfulness, especially from the young lady on the front desk. Our breakfast waiter was a treasure. Some small things, like a coffee cup in the room with a stain in the bottom of it, were disappointing. There doesn't seem to be as much attention to details of upkeep as there were on previous visits.

We had a great night away. The feel of the hotel makes for a very relaxing stay. My only complaint was that this time the mattress wasn't very comfortable.

No doubt it is lovely. All that you read is true...BUT... it has some flaws. We were at end of 2nd floor and we heard all activity around us. Then, somehow the staff knew we booked on Expedia and we were not treated as "other people who have packages and pay much more" as I was quoted at checkout. I questioned being charged for coffee when menu said beverages included. After some He said, she said" and just taking the money out of the bill, I was given that quote. Indicative of attitude...spoiled experience for us. Oh well...
