This hotel was reasonably priced and very clean. Comfy beds, a big room with an extra sink and mirror....great idea if the washroom is occupied. The ceiling had a vaulted area at each end so the room appeared bigger. The attached restaurant was very reasonably priced also. We would stay there again.

Nice hotel next to a great restaurant.

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: The hotel is within walking distance to the Falls, quiet location, and the rooms are clean.
Cons: We stayed in the older section, which is a bit dated, but quite spacious.
Location: Quiet location, close to the Falls, good restaurants nearby.
We enjoy coming to the Rodeway Inn. It is a good value and next to an amazing Italian restaurant.

Great If You Don't Mind The Ghetto and Mothballs

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: The location. It was close to the falls.
Cons: It felt dirty. See above.
The woman at the front desk was not pleasant at all, despite our efforts to be pleasant with her. I felt like I was at a cheap motel that charged by the hour. As soon as you walk into the room, which looks like it came straight out of the 80's/90's, you're hit with a very strong scent of moth balls. The heat didn't work AT ALL. The only good thing about this room was that it had a second sink on the outside of the bathroom which made it convenient for people to get ready to go out.

Let down by sloppy housekeeping

Posted Nov 7, 2016 on Hotels
This is a pleasant hotel that is showing its age. Wallpaper starting to peel in places, scuffed paintwork, dated décor, loose power outlets, carpet old and stained. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming but let down by some sloppy housekeeping. While the important spaces in the room were clean (bed, bathroom), it was quite evident that some of the furniture had not been moved recently. I moved the bedside table to access an outlet in order to recharge my iPad and found an empty baby wipes container under the table. There was dust on the bedside light fixtures. The coffee cups looked clean the day I arrived, but quite obviously were only being rinsed under the tap (not washed) on succeeding days. I know you get what you pay for, but you shouldn't have to compromise on cleanliness. Would I stay here again? The jury's still out on that one.
