Wonderful except for viewPosted Nov 8, 2015
Love this hotel. Perfect for walking to the falls. Very nice rooms with great mattress. My only complaints would be our view was of the next building so that was disappointing. Also no cookies or turn down service and no chocolates as their website describes. Will stay at again though.

Great boutique hotel in Niagara FallsPosted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: The room was lovely, the bathroom was spacious and the staff were fantastic. Valet parking and breakfast buffet were great too.
Cons: The rooms are a bit dark and could use some overhead lighting.
Location: The falls are within walking distance and great shopping is a short drive away.
We often travel to Niagara Falls for weekend visits. This is the first time we stayed at the Giacomo but it won't be the last. This is a great hotel for a girls' weekend or for couples.

Nice hotel in historic renovation of office blgPosted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Cheerful, helpful staff, nice breakfast buffet
Cons: For seniors, overall decor and especially rooms are very dark, lighting needs improvement, hotel does not have full on-site restaurant
Location: As good as it gets on NY side of border, limited attractions and restaurants nearby, Canadian side of border has more of everything
Overall good stay, location is convenient, close to NY attractions and bridge to Canada

Comfortable stay !Posted Oct 6, 2015
Upon our arrival we were welcomed by valet service and warm cookies. We picked up a glass of wine from the bar and rode the elevator up 18 floors to enjoy the view and the sunset in a comfortable room with cozy couches. Our room was beautiful. The hotel has a perfect location and we could walk everywhere. We enjoyed the falls at night on the American side and by day on the Canadian side. We did not need the car the whole time. The breakfast included with our room was a perfect start to our day. Would have loved to stay longer.

The Giacomo is a very warm and comfy stay. The staff was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area attractions. Everything Niagara is within walking distance of the hotel(we never used the car the whole time!)

Fire Alarm at 7 am in the morningPosted Aug 11, 2015
Stayed one night for Niagara Falls. The fire alarm was ringing at 7 am in the morning. Rush to run out and slipped. No staff came out to explain what happened. I have to ask the firefighter by myself.
