The hotel is in a great location, but it’s definitely dated. The facility as a whole smelled a bit like sewage, and the bathroom was also showing its age. It was very tight and hard to maneuver in there as well. The shower has a curtain - which is always a bit grimy and when it clings to you as you shower it’s pretty gross. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful - and the price was right (we stayed off-peak).

Full of character.
Have stayed here twice before, so that must say something about the people and place. It’s a French hotel and very individual, makes such a pleasant change from the corporate mainstream hotels where you only know where you are when you open the curtains.
