Lovely quirky homely hotel fantastic views of nice

Room was spotless and had a lot of extra touches lovely antique furniture, lamps, beautiful cushions. Own private terrace that overlooked nice with sea views. We had dinner once in the restaurant which was fantastic best food of our stay by far. Lovely couple who really cared about their guests.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent stay at Le Panoramic. Pros: - Awesome view from our room - Clean hotel - Friendly staff Cons: - the walls are quite thin so you can hear people talking in the morning, but don't let that put you off I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Spectacular view of Nice. Charming hotel with a great owner/operator who cooks a pretty solid 'American Breakfast', best I had on my trip. Only warning I offer is to not look for parking down the little laneway just past the front gate. It's super narrow and a dead end. Took over 30min just to back my minivan out.

Very rude owner & rooms don't match pictures

What a rip off, totally overpriced! Check in is supposed to be from 2pm but no one is there between 1pm and 5pm and it doesn't say that in the booking information. When you finally get to the room, it is tiny without a real bathroom and looks nothing like in the picture. The owner arrogantly just yells that you should never trust the pictures. He then offers you a different room, for a lot more money of course. He's done that to us and 2 other families while we were there, everyone was pretty annoyed. Also, there is no insulation between rooms so it sounds like neighbours are in your room. This is by far the worst hotel we've ever been to! What a scam!!

I understand your dissatisfaction but we are going to clarify the situation : You booked a single room and you arrived at 2 people, your explanation: we thought it was a room for 2 on the picture. I remind you that You have to rely on the category of room you book, namely a single is for 1 person, a double for 2 people, a triple for 3 people ... etc ... We finally managed To find a double room for you with of course a supplement .... of 15 €! The 2nd family who was there wanted 1 quadruple room instead of the 2 reserved rooms ... we responded to their request and as you mentionned they were not bored but on the contrary pleased to be together. Also thanks to them, you could have your double room otherwise you would have to look for another hotel as we were fully booked. The reception opening hours are mentioned on all booking sites: 7.30 am to 2.00 pm and 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm with possibility of check-in during the closing hours with an access code. You arrived at 2.30pm (not 1pm), I remember because you forced us to come back during the closing hours. Finally about the arrogance of the owner, understand that we are also human beings and it is difficult to keep calm in front of a client who absolutely wants to be accommodated 2 people in a single room because the photo of the room seems able to accommodate 2 persons... With 2 bell sounds it is easier to get an idea ... Valérie & Gino

Panoramic views of Nice!

Situated a little way out of the city, the hotel is quiet, private and a great place to stay. Our room had a fabulous view across Nice - across to the hat and airport. The room (7) was compact but very comfortable. Ensuite shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The owners were very helpful, providing information, advice and general chat - their English is amazing! Access to the hotel is okay. Bus 84 stops outside but only runs to about 7.45 p.m. The tram, which is great, is accessible via steep steps - okay going down... We would certainly stay here again.

Nicestay

The time we spent in the room was comfortable. We were out most of the time. It was a little way out from Nice central. The host was very helpful providing information.
