Away from the bustle of Cote d'AzurePosted Sep 27, 2016 on Hotels
Stayed in a King on the Pool and it was just fine with a good bed. Lights in the room were too low wattage and there are "no" extra plugs for charging the usual devices - we had to unplug a floor lamp. Area is close to the old city and quite aways from any noise. The dinner was not good, but probably because we were the only guests in late September. They more than made up for it with the outstanding breakfast. Staff was young and very enthusiastic.

Pros: Pool, cleanliness, comfortable and updated rooms.
Cons: Spotty WiFi
Location: Beaches are a 10 minute drive. Haute de Cagnes is very close by.
Wonderful 3 nights in Southern France. High on a hill, very quite location.

Nice hotel off the beaten trackPosted Jun 23, 2016
Pros: Warm friendliness of staff; clean and comfortable rooms; excellent breakfast; very comfortable pool furniture and clean pool of good size
Location: Old town with a selection of very good restaurants (although the walk does involve some steep slopes). Local museums include Renoir's old residence.
A thoroughly enjoyable visit to Provence and very pleased to have chosen a hotel away from the madding crowd. Had a little difficulty finding the place initially but probably a self inflicted problem - should have taken better note of some of the signage! Arrived to a very warm welcome by the staff who were equally attentive through the whole stay. The inclusive 'Classic' breakfast on the veranda was the perfect way to start a day and the hotel provided an excellent base from which to explore the region; returning to a very comfortable pool-side setting and pool. Cagnes sur mer is an excellent choice for those wishing to visit Nice but not wanting the daily bustle of such a vibrant city, and is itself filled with history and culture.

French Retreat !!Posted May 20, 2016
Pros: Great terrace & swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. Very chilled & relaxed during both the day & the evenings.
Location: In a quiet, peaceful location in the hills near Saint Paul du Vence. Not too far from nice airport & beeches.
This is our second time at the hotel. This place is just great if all you want is relaxation & to chill out with a book etc. Located just at the back of the old town of Cagnes sur Mer on top of a hill with good views of the surrounding areas. Close to Nice airport & all of the beeches on the Cote D'zur its a great base for sightseeing & to return to of an evening. Onsite restaurant & bar although not very busy was nice but pricey. Lovely heated pool & terrace with plenty of sunbeds. Lots of steps & inclines so would not recommend for the less mobile. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, nice, clean place to stay with friendly staff.

5 Night stay Cote d'Sur - Quiet hotel, as we wanted, but handy for touring the area. Hired a car, good value, but a must, best way to travel with flexibility.Visited Nice, Cannes,Monaco and several of the beautiful hill villages. All within easy reach. Staff very friendly and helpful, nice breakfast , had meal in the hotel one evening and fully enjoyed the choice and quality of food. Would recommend to family and friends

Splendid hotel and staffPosted Aug 29, 2015 on Hotels
Whilst a bit out of the town centre I found both the hotel and room extremely well presented. The pool area and restaurant were excellent and the staff were very helpful and attentive. I would definitely stay here when next in the area.
Weekend breakPosted Aug 28, 2015 on Hotels
Uphill hike to restaurant and pool from room. We were in a block 5 mins steep uphill climb from the main part of the building. The room was lovely. Good facilities and clean. Balcony door didn't lock though? Not much choice for breakfast and many items ran out quickly. Just had cheese and bread both mornings. Sun loungers very comfortable. Pool too cold to use. dinner very good (the one meal we had at the hotel) paid €38 (Friday) to get from airport to hotel and then €50 for the return journey because it was a Sunday. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. Free bottles of water in fridge in room. Bed and pillows very soft. Nice toiletries.
