Newly renovated family hotel in a old beautiful house exellently situated in the central area of Nice. Walking distance to all important places but away from the worst tourist streams

Lovely little hotel.Posted Oct 3, 2016 on Orbitz
Fantastic little hotel. With friendly staff. Room was comfortable and very clean. Shower was good. Although on a bit of an odd angle so when ever you showered you would soak the bathroom. The hotel was not too far from the old town and the beach (well pebble beach) Also just a short walk from the main shopping centre. My only complaint is the hotel wasn't very sound proofed. Our room was right above the breakfast room so you could hear everything. Other than that. fabulous! Oh and we stayed for 6 nights.

Very convenient to tram line.Posted Jul 9, 2016
Pros: Great location
Cons: Assistance with getting baggage up and down stairs on arrival and departure. A small fridge in room.
Location: Convenient for shopping, dining and beach
Easy to get to everywhere. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast very good and reasonably priced.

1 night stay June 2016 for the Euro,s.Posted Jun 29, 2016
Pros: The welcome was genuine & professional. The room although a little on the small side was fine for a short stay.Air conditioning was a bonus
Cons: Actually the hotel was undergoing improvements during my stay.Despite this fact it didn,t spoil my stay.
Location: The location is relatively central. One of the main shopping streets is only about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.A mini-market & restaurants are nearby
The hotel is located approximately 10 minutes walk from Nice Ville station. There are trams which will get you a little closer to the hotel if you wish. The seafront is located approximately 15 minutes walk from the hotel. As my visit was in June the temperatures were into the low 30,s but nevertheless this was ok as there was a pleasant breeze. Nice is a very beautiful city with many beautiful buildings & statues etc. There are many bars & restaurants catering for all tastes. It,s the sort of place where you can combine a beach holiday or city break & as the climate is so good i would imagine it,s an all year type of resort.

Friendly staff. Safe. Quiet.Posted Jun 27, 2016
Good levee to crash if you plan to be out all day. Would skip the breakfast in lieu of the local sidewalk cafes. Best to take 70 or 53 bus from bottom of Ave JM as 99 / 100 buses r on strike.

Good hotel close to shoppingPosted Oct 11, 2015
Cons: A lift , but that does not seem possible as we were on the third floor.
Location: Good location to shopping and 10 minute walk way from old Nice
Good , clean hotel, with a good side room and surprising sunken bath. Close to main shopping throughfare and old Nice

Stayed for a couple of nights, lovely warm welcome from the proprietor and his elderly dog! Bed extremely comfortable, air-con a real bonus in sweltering temperatures. Decor a little tired and clear evidence of improvements being carried out around the hotel. Only five minutes from the train station and directly off of the main shopping district; beach only ten mins at a slow amble. we would stay here again!

A little disappointingPosted Jul 27, 2015
The experience at this hotel was a bit mixed. There is no lift so if you are on the third floor it is a bit inconvenient. The room was fine however the air conditioner was not working well and Nice in July is hot and humid. Staff were friendly and a good breakfast was available at s reasonable cost.
