“The room ”

“This had my favorite complimentary breakfast I have had in all of the hotels I have been to. The room was clean and spacious. The air-conditioning was really crisp. My only qualm was that the toilet paper was a little rough and the pool was basically the size of a hot tub.”

“Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck. In floor heating; no noisy AC unit. Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly). Host provided outside movie and got a fire going. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular.”

“We had booked for 4 nights, we had requested a room with a marina view. We were given a 2nd Floor room FACING A WALL. We requested a different room and were told "All rooms face a wall" and no other rooms were available. The thermostat in our room was not working and the air conditioner was very noisy. The dining room was very small and hav a very limited menu and the bartender served as the waiter and server. We checked out a day early and will not return to any Sheraton.”

We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high.
