“Could not recommend Hotel Residenz Schrannenhof enough! From literally the moment we walked in, we were treated like family and felt fully and wonderfully taken care of. They allowed us to check in early so we could nap after our long trip from the US, given recommendations on restaurants/bars and info on train tickets, and the breakfast was amazing every morning! The staff are incredible and our room was big and perfect. Plus, the hotel is literally right across the street from the train……

“When I arrived, the room had trash on the floor and under the bed. There was also a hole in the back of the door, like someone punched it. The kitchen was dirty and the fridge had moldy food in it - the moldy food was still in the fridge when I checked out! For a one week stay, I was given only one bath towel. No hand towel or washcloth. There was no mat for the showers and nowhere to place your clothes while you showered, except for the dirty floor. On the second day, I requested help from……

“Even though the room was clean, there were people smoking outside the property and the smell penetrated the room big time. Other guests were very noisy (talking loudly until 5 am or so). It appeared that the TV had been broken for a long time. No internet. Yes, there’s free parking on the street but only between 10 pm and 9 am. The price was good, and the place served the purpose. Not sure if I would stay there again though. ”

“Leider versprechen die Bilder mehr …selbst für den schmalen Geldbeutel ist’s ärgerlich . Immerhin -das Bett war bequem , die Bettwäsche frisch ! Achtung -Handtücher müssen dazu gebucht werden . Leider gabs ,obwohl angeschrieben, kein WiFi. Lage der Unterkunft war für Ausflüge gut . ”
