Quiet location but easy access to Nijmegan and surrounding area. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Didnt use the spa but it looked very popular with hotel guests and visitors

Hotel and staff were very good. Wellness all clean and enjoyable. Only downside for me was the food. Not worth the prize they were asking and the fact that i needed to pay for the parking as a hotel guest.

Nice spa hotel in Nijmegen
Good place to stay if you are visiting the area for business. The spa is included in the visit and people wear bathing suits (unlike most spas in the Netherlands). The breakfast buffet has a good spread and they keep it clean.

An oasis of calm
Friendly and effecient check-in. Good standard of bedroom with a balcony overlooking the gardens. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which is always a disappointment but a HUGE bed which was super comfortable. Excellent breakfast albeit slightly surreal with some guests fully dressed while others were in their bathrobes - you can use the spa on the day you arrive, during your stay AND the day you check-out and people clearly make the most of this offer! We didn't have time to use the spa so can't give feedback on this but our stay has certainly encouraged us to return for longer next time!

We have come here regularly. But have a few complaints. If you stay in the hotel then why would we have to pay for parking? And another one is if you think the extra price you pay for an upgrade to the superior deluxe room. Don't its hardly any different than the normal deluxe room.the normal rooms have a balcony superior rooms don't. My advice don't upgrade its not worth it. In the rooms there are no coffee or tea facilities. Another scam to force you to buy it at the in hotel cafe. Spa is nice but after being here well over 6 times in the past 5 years. I refuse to come here paying full price and then paying extra on top for parking! You can get a bus there but its not convenient enough. Parking is 7.5€

A nice place to relax with the combination of hotel and spa / sauna / treatment, however it is due an update on interior like carpets etc its starting to look old, which is a shame as the rest including staff is very good

Friendly spa hotel in Nijmegen
Best thing about the Sanadome is the pool facilities. Many different hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and more included in your stay. One of the few places where you can use the spa wearing swim clothes makes it comfortable for Americans. The rooms are decent, the breakfast bar has a generous selection, there are a couple restaurant options in the hotel (with pretty much the same food). The area doesn’t have a lot of things nearby and it is far from the city center, so you either want to go to the spa or you have business nearby. Sometimes I’ve had to change out the pillows for being smelly and there is no aircon. The weather is typically decent so I only wished for the aircon once in my stays here. Overall the best choice I’ve found in the area because of the spa.

not worth the money
The hotel was rather tired looking and it would be easy to double the price of a stay by merely adding the car park charges and charges for extras like bathing robes. there were no tea facilities in the room i know this is typical in Europe, but never the less worthy of a mention as I stayed in a cheap Champienelle ibis in France prior to this hotel and i had tea and coffee in my room? I would personally look for somewhere else the next time i come to stay and thus voting with my feet.

Nice Spa Hotel - American size rooms
This is a great hotel, if you like your space. However it is a hotel room in the Netherlands, and standards are different. There are not a lot of amenities in the room (like hair conditioner etc.) but they are available at the front desk. The breakfast is great, and the staff is very friendly. Great add-on is because it is a Spa hotel you can use all their amenities.

Not impressed. •No A/C in the room. •No complimentary coffee maker or tea. •Spa water was way cold. 37C was the highest water. •No shampoo&conditioner (all in one detergent is attached in the bathroom dispenser) •Very old hair dryer. Take 30mins to dry your hair! Good thing •Welcoming staff. •Bike retail available for 7euro/day •Good free breakfast.(great quality) I'm originally from Asia so hot spring/spa expectation was completely different was this spa. Water was way too cold. It's almost swimming pool.

We arranged a couple of days rest at Sanadome onroute back to the UK (Hoek Van Holland-Harwich) after a few busy days in Hamburg (Work Related) and we loved everything about Sanadome, we will return to this complex!

One of the best if not thee best I've stayed in
I stayed here for a couple of nights for a recent business trip and found this hotel to be fantastic. In my job role I have to travel quite a lot and therefore stay in a lot of hotels... I can safely say that I believe this hotel is one of the best, if not thee best hotel I have ever stayed in. It has everything you could possible wish for in a hotel. Good service, good food, good spa facilities, fantastic indoor and outdoor heated pools, multiple Jacuzzi's, free wifi, breakfast always included, the list here is endless... Will 100% stay here again if I'm ever in the area. Yes it might be slightly more expensive. Put it is worth every penny/cent.. Top hotel!!

This property is excellent in almost every aspect. Room comfort is generally excellent, but the pillows are the only weakness and the curtains do not completely darken the room. The restaurant is expensive, but the quality is also quite good and service, although slow, is also good.

A mixed bag
This hotel is somewhat of a mixed bag. The rooms are wonderfully clean and the pool facility is truly relaxing. The front desk is helpful with some free supplies like flip flops if you don't have any. However, the isolation of the hotel means that unless you want to cab somewhere else, you are stuck with their restaurant. We found this to be overpriced (25 Euros for Pad Thai) with slooooow service and so-so food. I think this hotel might be a good fit for people who had a car to drive to other food, but for us the on-site food had a negative impact on our stay.

This property is excellent. There are only 2 issues that need to be addressed to make this one of the best properties on my list. 1. There are no pillow options - the pillow they offer is not the best and a hotel of this calibre should have a different pillow in the wardrobe and not the same type. 2. Dinner service is incredibly slow. I am a slow food advocate, but 2 hours for a meal is just unhealthy for the amount of time required to be seated. I would definitely return to this hotel. IT WOULD BE EXCELLENT IF EXPEDIA WOULD OFFER SOMETHING FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS WHO SOMETIMES NEED TO CHANGE TRAVEL PLANS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK AND NEED TO CANCEL THEIR LAST NIGHT STAY. THIS WOULD MAKE THE HOTELS.COM EXPERIENCE BETTER.

Spa Hotel in woods
This is an excellent spa hotel in a wooded area of Nijmegen. I have stayed a number of times when on business and find it to be the best hotel in the area. However it is not central and one has to be prepared to take a short taxi ride to your destination. There is a large and excellent swimming pool and spa.

Thermal baths in splendid resort hotel
Wonderful resort hotel, a destination rather than a place to stay. Extensive choice of thermal baths, indoors and outdoors, very modern design building and large comfortable rooms. Several restaurants, formal and informal -- great for couples or families. Quite remote from the city (Nijmegen), taxi to town available for Euro 11.00.

parking sucks... u cannot drive upto the front entrance.. if it is raining and u have bags .. forget it. not a hotel I would visit in the winter. otherwise.. no complaints
