Loved being in the center of Nob HillPosted Mar 15, 2018
Pros: Location. Affordability. Parking. Clean. Front staff was very helpful and friendly
Cons: Parking was tough because the spaces were almost too small to be able to open both car doors at the same time but there's not much you can do.
Location: Walking distance to fisherman's wharf. Great cheap dining options. Near the water. Did take the car out to more remote locations.
We planned to stay for 2 nights and ended up staying for 5. They wanted to put us in the front corner room but were very accomodating when we asked if they had something in the back. The room was spacious. The bathroom was clean. There was a fridge and microwave. It was walking distance to shopping, dining and site seeing so we got to know the neighborhood while we were there. Would go back if lucky enough to visit San Francisco again.

Okay for the moneyPosted Mar 12, 2018
Parking is limited. Had to ask staff multiple times to talk to the room above for being so loud late at night and early in the morning. I honestly don't think they did anything about it.

Parking and locationPosted Mar 7, 2018
Pros: The location on Pacific near Van Ness provides easy access to local sites, i.e. China Town. Food marts, pharmacies, restaurants. The area feels safe
Cons: The King Suite room was spacious. The only issue was with the age of the carpet. The hotel room was very clean. Maintenance staff were pleasant.
Location: The hotel is within a 15 to 20 minute walk too many area, i.e. China Town. Public transportation options are abundant. There is a great auto museum.
Upon arrival we were pleased to see that the free parking entrance was adjacent to the office area. This provided us with a high degree of security, as the entrance to the hotel is monitored by the front desk staff. The hotel is an older building that is showing its age, i.e. carpets, however the room was very clean, spacious, and it contained all of the amenities: wifi, tv., microwave, fridge, iron, hair dryer, coffee etc. The water pressure was excellent for showers and the towels were first class. The hotel is only two stories high and it backs on to local 3 story condos, so it is a very quiet area. The inclusion of a complimentary Danish style breakfast was a nice touch each morning. The staff took time each day to fold the tissues into fans etc. We would consider this hotel again on a future trip.

great location and free parkingPosted Mar 5, 2018
Pros: it was clean. it was friendly. it was safe. there are no drug dealers staying here compared to motels along broadway and along lombard.
Cons: the shower could be a bit stronger, however there is hot water and it worked.
Location: lots of walking and close to laundry, restaurants, gym, shopping, pubs,
it was quiet most of the time and off any busy streets, therefore street traffic was minimal. easy access in and out of the building and lots of shopping and restaurants just around the corner. bus is on vanness avenue to travel north or south, cable car just a few blocks up. clean, quiet, safe location in good neighbourhood.

Nob Hill gave away my room after they confirmed itPosted Mar 3, 2018
My flight was delayed 2 ½ hours. I called the Nob Hill Inn and told them my flight was delayed. A man answered and confirmed I still had a room there. When I got there the lady said they gave away my room. I told her I called the motel and stated the person who answered the phone confirmed my reservation. The kicker? She put me in a TraveLodge. The TraveLodge had silverfish (nasty insects) and the heater wasn’t working. I only got 2 hours of sleep. *Two* hours before making my presentation to my clients. I want a refund! How can you give someone’s room away when you just confirmed it? To a dirty motel that has crawling insects and the heater doesn’t work? REFUND!

Low price even lower valuePosted Mar 1, 2018
Car alarms going off all day and night with no apparent attempt to resolve. Staff wouldnt budge from the seats and computer to address with the guests. Paper thin walls and noisy guests. Rooms are very dated and low levels of maintenace (my sink had rust in several places and towel rack was coming off wall) Do yourself a huge favour and spend another $5 a night and stay elsewhere. Worst motel I have ever been in.

Pros: Staff was very helpful. Parking on site is ideal. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet once the sun went down.
Cons: Check-in area where bakery and coffee is served could be cleaner.
Location: Many interesting restaurants and shops very close by.
Stayed in the hotel for a short stay to see the city and to walk and use public transit as much as possible. Hotel is dated but room was clean and comfortable. Neighborhood is bustling and seems safe. Trolley car and public transit a couple of blocks away. Walking distance (1.5 miles) to fisherman's wharf, Chinatown, business district.
