This had such good reviews on Expedia, I was shocked by the state of the property - either some of these reviews are not real or people have pretty low standards. First, it's not okay to not tell people when the hotel is under major construction. We would have chosen another hotel - services were limited here. Second, and outside of the construction issues, we had to stay on the only floor not being worked on, and I can say the construction is about two decades overdue. Our room was spacious but really old, the hallway smelled bad, people were clearly smoking on a nonsmoking floor, the carpet was dirty, things in our room were broken or repaired badly, and it was overall not worth what we paid to stay there. I will say that I would have given it a worse review if the people working there weren't so nice. All the staff we encountered were great, and here's hoping the upgrades in progress are significant.

Booked suite unavailable construction. Traveling with 2 dogs. Come into states to get groceries since we live in Mexico. No good areas to walk dogs. Front desk associate very rude. Homeless people hanging out in lobby.

Always our fav place to stay in this area.
Clean room, no disrepair seen. Great and well supplied comp Breakfast. Quiet room due to good original construction., compared to other places with paper thin walls/floor/ceilings. Clean modern TV/remote and many channels compared to others in area.

I have been staying at this property for years, and it just seems to get worse. Fewer amenities, one hotel key per room, being charged extra fees, dirty carpets... I'll be staying elsewhere in the future.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The pool and jacuzzi were available, but not usable in my opinion. Probably due to lack of maintenance in the off season. However I have never received better service, or free breakfast at any hotel! The only reason a three for comfort was given, was due to the fact that the people in my room before me, broke the bunk bed my children were to sleep on. So they gave us a twin and a rollaway that were very uncomfortable. Even with the mishap, because of the great service, we will be returning!

I love that the beds are so comfortable and the pillows are also! The breakfast choices were great and good coffee. My car was safe the hotel was clean and my room heater worked great! plus we were close to shopping centers.
