Great location. Shame about scaffolding &breakfastPosted Feb 19, 2018
Pros: Was nice for a romantic break.
Location: Very good location. Good for trains, buses, etc.
Scaffolding everywhere so spoilt it a bit. Quite noisy but not too bad. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. When we arrived the lady was abrupt and no warm welcome unfortunately. Thes rest of the staff were fine, especially Anna who helped before the trip and throughout. Thank you Anna. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. A cold buffet, again, no welcome and we wasn't sure where to sit or anything. Fresh eggs made to order would be a pleasant addition. Lots had run out by 10am. Location is wonderful and the area fine. Was recommended local restaurant by the hotel, Gran Sasso - it was delicious and very authentic. Seemed to be full of locals and no tourists which made a pleasant change.

Good hotel with close links to public transportPosted Jan 27, 2018
The staff were fantastic and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. It's outside of the bustle of central Rome but that is what I wanted. It's about 100 metres from a Metro station and Tram stop. Would highly recommend. The options are breakfast were great too!

Still nice!Posted Jan 19, 2018
Pros: See above!
Cons: The scuffs on the walls could be painted or cleaned off.
Location: See above!
This was our third stay at the Villa Morgagni. We enjoy staying there because the staff always tries their best to accommodate; it's very quiet; it's in a residential neighborhood that's not touristy, even though many famous places are easily walkable; it's close to the subway; it's clean; and it has a nice breakfast buffet with something for all. Bravi!

Lovely HotelPosted Jan 12, 2018
Pros: It was clean with friendly English speakng staff and the breakfast was plentiful
Cons: Not a deal breaker but would have liked tea and coffee in the rooms or somewhere you could help yourself.
Location: Quiet area outside of the main hustle and bustle but easy enough to get to the main attractions via metro. Cafes and shops within walking distance
This was an emergency trip to Rome as my son fell ill while over there, so didn't really have much time to look at reviews etc. The hotel was lovely and staff friendly and engaging. It was an ideal location for us(near the hospital) but also ideal for the metro which was only metres away and where the centre was only 2 plus stops on the metro depending where you wanted to go and see. The rooms were expected, very clean, quiet. We opted for a slightly bigger double room ,which some people would still find small but it was fine for us. The staff were very helpful and did everything we requested from printing documents, to sending emails on our behalf, to ordering taxis and recommending places to eat. The area is quiet but had plenty of eating places, and you have a macdonanlds down the road. The breakfast was plentiful and as expected. Bacon, eggs. choice of meats and cheeses and pastries.fruit and cereals and yoghurts etc

Very small but clean roomPosted Jan 4, 2018
Pros: Clean rooms
Cons: Breakfast service
Location: Very good location
Overall a decent hotel, acceptable for a cheaper rate. Been there for a major holiday season, had an overpriced stay for an average hotel. Hotel was clean, room was very small, bed was acceptable. Breakfast was average with staff being slow in cleaning after guests... had a situation that of 12 tables 5 were occupied and 7 were available but still dirty from prior guests... simply not acceptable for a hotel. Location of this hotel is very good - probably the best factor. Across the street from both bus and metro station. We even walked to major tourist destinations, which are 2-3 km by foot. Would come back for a €50 / night with breakfast for two persons. Everything above is overpriced and not worth it.

very nice hotel right in the heart of Rome.Posted Dec 20, 2017 on Ebookers
The staaf of the Morgagni hotel was very friendly and ready to help at any time. On the 14 Dec ember the lady at the reception brought us us a bottle of Champagne for our Gold Weading ceremony. It was great and very nice. We recommand this hotel to every tourist going to Rome.
