I wouldn’t consider this a beautiful high end hotel but it was good for our needs. The sheets were clean. And the breakfast was good. And the people very nice.

Simple
We stayed here as 7 people so had our own room. This is a hostel and we had to make our own beds, bunk beds. But that was fine. Room was decent. Nothing special, but clean and a place to sleep. Parking here was free and spaces generally available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and simple but good. They have bikes to rent here for a fee. We did this and were able to ride through some tulip fields nearby. Restaurant that is decent right across the street otherwise not a ton of things super close by, but we were fine with driving. The kukenhof was a short drive and we easily made it there in time for them to open so we could beat some of the crowds. I would stay here again.

A great family option
This was a great place to stay out of the cities of the Netherlands. We were able to hire bikes and ride along the coast as well as have our first swim of the European summer. The hostel room was basic, but clean and large enough for out family and the customer service (during the day especially) was good.

Very easy to find, close to Keukenhof gardens, and superb breakfast included. No soap or towels in the room. Luckily we had our own.

GOOD HOTEL FOR THE PRICE
Checking was quick and nice. Reception clerk was outstanding. Very curious and helpful. Stay was comfortable. Little noisy because of a large student group. Well done

kind of misleading
40 minutes away from the nearest public transportation, not really close at all to noordwijk or the beach (over 30 minute walk). Staff were awesome though, they were the redeeming part of the stay, very helpful and friendly. The room was small with crappy mattresses with no hand soap or hand towel, the shower head also just came out of the wall in the bathroom. No walls or curtain so the water got everywhere and the shower had a weak wide spray, plus it was a shower where you had to push for about 20 seconds of water. Breakfast was decent with boiled eggs toasts and veggies. Also not great for solo travellers, as there is no where to meet people. The floor was also very gross. I spilled some water and wiped it up and a lot more than water turned up.

Ótima localização para visitar plantações de tulipas. Excelente café da manhã. Sabíamos que era uma acomodação simples mas o quarto era escuro e deprimente. Chuveiro com timer de interrupção de fornecimento de água. Apesar do bom café, não podemos considerar o local aconchegante. A localização foi ótima pq queríamos ver flores

Het was perfect voor een weekendje weg met de boys. Dicht bij het strand, wel beetje ver van de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt.

Die Dusche hatte viel zu wenig strahl. Kinderhochstühle waren nicht gut gereinigt. Hat einen Spielplatz, eher für grössere Kinder... Frühstück war okey. Zimmer war trotz Vorhänge noch relativ hell und man hört die anderen Hotelgäste gut.

pessimo. a funcionaria insistiu que minha reserva de dois quartos nao poderia ser paga numa so conta porque cada quarto tinha um nome... fazendo eu pagar duas vezes e consequente duas taxas de uso no exterior. ela ja tinha sido mal educada antes mas check out um para cada quarto foi a coisa mais ridícula que ja vi. Schöner Familienurlaub am Strand
Gute Lage 1,5 km durch die Dünen bis zum Strand. Wir waren im der Familie im Stayokay. Für einen kurz Urlaub bietet das Hostel alles was man braucht.

Wenn man mal Ruhe haben und auf Luxus verzichten möchte dann ist das genau das richtige. Es ist ein Familien Hostel und dafür gut geeignet, das Hotel liegt in strandnähe was man zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad schnell erreicht. Kommen gerne wieder um eine Auszeit am Meer zu genießen.

Nice hotel.
We have had a nice weekend at the hostel. Everything was clean. The staff was very nice and polite. Every day we had a nice fresh breakfast and there was enough. I would recommend it.

Het was heel erg gezellig, rustig en fijn!!!
Het is een zeer eenvoudig, gezellig en schoon hostel met vriendelijke bediening aan de balie bij entree en eetzaal en een goede service. Goede bedden en prima ontbijt. Ook handig om savonds te kunnen eten, waar we niet aan toe zijn gekomen. Ó Bij de douche misten we een trekker om de douche droog te maken en een glas bij de wastafel. We hoorden dat dit ontbrak doordat er veel door de gasten wordt meegenomen...... Prachtige omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen en ook voor bezoek aan musea en vele andere culturele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Wij zijn o.a. naar Museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar geweest, naar Haarlem en een dag langs het strand gewandeld. We hebben drie dagen intens genoten. Veel dank voor het gezellige verblijf!

Ruim, relaxed.
Veel voor weinig, grote kamers voor groepen, als gezin hadden we alleen maar enkele stapelbedden maar voor een keer niet erg. Ruime kamer en douche (voor 6 pers) . Flexibel personeel, bierglazen konden gewoon mee naar de kamer. Kregen direct bij inchecken goede info over wat voor stranden er waren en info over parkeren, top, heel handig. Ruime locatie, mogelijk rumoerig s avonds in de zomer omdat de kamers om de binnenplaats heen liggen. Leuk barretje en ook de lobby was s avonds sfeervol. Super grote badkamer kan je met t hele gezin tegelijk in, met minder valide zitje in de douche. Wel was er een trapje van een stapelbed stuk en geducktaped, in de wc was iets stuk maar geen last van gehad. Licht in de bakamer kregen wij niet uit maar niet erg.

We waren maar 1 nacht bij jullie in Stayokey. Het was relaxt. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk dichtbij het strand. Ontbijt was lekker, genoeg keus. Voor de kinderen was er ook genoeg, die konden hangen op een bank voor de tv, of een spelletje doen. Wij zijn blij dat we een nachtje bij jullie geslapen hebben.

Für 3 Nächte war es ok aber länger könnte ich mit diesem Standard nicht, wir waren mit 2 Kinder unterwegs . Bis zum Strand sind es 1,6 km und somit ist dann ein Fahrrad nötig, welches für 1Tag jedoch 9 € kostet und das dann x4, dass war uns zu teuer. Die Umgebung ist super !!
