Beautiful place with character. The staff is wonderful, extraordinary landscape, relaxing atmosphere…. Everything was excellent, from preparing our car at 4 AM in order to get early to nearby Monte Sibillini national park to great dinners, especially at the hotel restaurant. There were great jazz musicians and food in the range of Michelin starred restaurant. Altogether, very interesting area that is worth visiting and great hotel and restaurant. All recommendations! Landscape photographers, people who love nature, great gastronomy and all others, all of them will enjoy this place, National park Monte Sibillini and of course Palazzo Seneca!

Delightful Umbrian romance!Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The room furnishings and the location of the hotel were excellent but as I mentioned, there is no view.
Cons: Bed-side tables that are large enough to hold more than the lamp would be a good idea. The restaurant also needs a bit of help on the wine pairings.
Location: Good access to the main square and shopping area.
We spent a very romantic night at the Palazzo Seneca. Although we had no view, our room was so wonderful laid out with a very large bathroom and a four-poster bed. The Palazzo has wonderful little lounges and libraries to discover. In some respects, it's probably a little too nice for this little town. The staff are very helpful, if a little cautious due to their lack of English fluency. We saw the spa, but it was a lot more intimate than we had imagined and so decided to give it a miss.

A Fantastic Property in the Heart of NorciaPosted Oct 27, 2014 on Hotels
This was an amazing historic property in the center of town. Every time I took a turn, there was another sitting room that was to be discovered. We loved sitting in front of the ancient stone fireplace with a wood burning fire going. The library had a great book collection and I loved the secret door. The breakfast room was like dining in a castle and the service was terrific.

Nice staff, great restaurant!Posted Oct 18, 2014 on Hotels
the staff very nice n friendly, the restaurant is fantastic. However, the rooms are a bit worn out. Bathrooms would require some renovation, beds are not comfortable given the price paid.

Pleasant enough but ...Posted Jul 27, 2014
Cons: The prices at the hotel restaurant - 20 euros for an entrée, main courses much more than that.
Location: The main square contained the attractions we wished to see. The walks in the forrest/nature reserve would be enjoyable.
The hotel was pleasant enough, although not as well appointed as the web material had suggested. Given the cost of the accommodation, we had expected a bit more from the facilities, especially when compared with other accommodation in which we had stayed in Umbria. The hotel restaurant was very expensive. The location of the hotel was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. I am well aware that we were visitors in another country so it is a courtesy to us - as well as a business necessity for the hotel - to speak in English with English speaking guests. Some of the staff responses to our questions left us wondering exactly how much they understood.
