I had excellent service from reception and bar/restaurant. Decor is attractive and lounge and rooms comfortable. Chef is excellent, dishes imaginative and tasty. Good breakfast. Only negative is steep stairs to bedroom.

Great choice for an overnight stay
Great little hotel. So close to the front (2-3 minute walk to the Sea Life Centre) but far enough way from the main strip that you don't hear any noise from it. Excellent friendly service, very clean and very good standard. Only had a one night stay so didn't use the bar but it looked very nice. The only downside was the warmth due to no Aircon but I wouldn't expect a hotel of this nature to have it and they can't control the weather! It was amid the hottest week of the year.

Room and hotel very clean, tidy, comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the shower enclosure was small and had two sliding half doors that met on the corner when closed. When open, you only had room to step in sideways and diagonally. Area was good but end of street had lots of full, overflowing rubbish bins with overspill on the pavement. Didn’t try food or bar so can't comment. Would stay again but as both 50 would ask for 1st floor next time as 2nd floor was a bit much for old knees. Our fault as we didn't bother to ask as just 3 nights over a busy bank holiday.

Thank you Wendy. Pleased you enjoyed your time with us but I am personally frustrated about the overflowing rubbish bins. I litter pick on our street daily and put in a complaint to the council regarding those bins first thing in the morning but it always takes a day or two for the council to help clear. The seagulls have a field day when bin lids are up but as a hotel, I work hard to ensure the immediate area is as tidy as possible for my guests.

Great location
Hotel was very smart and the lounge areas and bar were lovely, the receptionist was very efficient and helpful. We had a small double and it was smaller thank I expected but was lovely and clean and the shower room was great. A real asset for this hotel is the location, literally a minutes walk to the seafront.

Excellent location and Adult only. Its was a noisy room though, no 12. People passing on craky stairs etc. Light from the outside coming through the very light curtains and extremely hot. There was a fan in the room but it was very noisy to sleep with. Good linen and bath towels. Nice bar area.

What a surprise !
Like a road and hotel / building from Kensington placed in the delights of Yarmouth . Was taken aback by the presentation and the staff members . So polite and cannot do enough. So well decorated and finished. Lovely bar and food available as required. A great little find and will visit again … the room I had was with a massive bay and was beautiful ( shower a little small but who cares as I fitted ). Surpassed my expectations and thanks to you all for making my stay pleasant. I almost felt at home … just something about theis place. …

Decided to stay in Great Yarmouth very last minute so although the price was high for a double room for one night considering the time spent in it and the area around was rather rough looking, we can understand as it is classed as high season. Very comfy bed, duvet and pillows and very clean. Good shower although small and helpful tea and coffee making facilities. Cannot comment on the restaurant as sadly this was closed. We would stay here again if the cost was a little lower.

Hi Rachel.Thank you for the comments. We keep our rates lower than our competitors at this time of year. 100 less per night than the Premier Inn in Great Yarmouth. All rates do drop in Great Yarmouth out of the high season. Greatly appreciate your comments regarding the room. All the very best.

Fantastic hotel, very modern, incredibly clean! Very comfortable bed and high quality sheets and towels. Lots of parking available near the hotel. Super friendly and welcoming staff. We will definitely stay again!

As we explained during your stay, breakfast starts at 8am at the weekend and is served in the downstairs restaurant. You departed before this time. We also made it very clear in all correspondence that the restaurant was temporarily closed which was due to Chef circumstances. The first time we have had to do this in 17 years. Finally, it is clear in all correspondence that the street parking is free and unrestricted. It can get busy at times, but with a little patience something always comes up. We can not do more than be clear in all correspondence and welcoming all guests with a walk around to ensure they know where everything is.

Weekend away first stay in this hotel and was very enjoyable very smooth from arriving to leaving lovely room the ground superior comfy bed lovely bath and shower and overall very nice hotel will definitely stay again on next visit when the racing is on . Got lucky with parking outside as well maybe not so easy in peak times

It’s the first time stay in Andover but it will not be the last. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble the young lady on in the evening so friendly name I forgot but lovely rooms.

Ok but not what I expected for the money.
Initially stayed in room 7 and the room itself was nice. The bathroom was another matter! The shower was so small that both my daughter and I struggled to get in the shower cubicle and the water scalding one minute and freezing the next. The next morning I spoke to reception who kindly moved us to room 25,which had a much bigger walk in shower! The room was much nicer and had clearly been refurbished. The down side was that we couldn’t close the windows which resulted in us been woke up at 5am by the seagulls. I advised reception about it and hopefully they will get it sorted out. Overall the hotel was good, but for the price I would have expected better. Breakfast was good, although it’s £7.50 pp unless you book direct. We had food in the bar which was very nice, although the portion sizes were very small and it was very pricey. Parking was also tricky, which isn’t great when you’re tired from travelling. The staff were very friendly, although they got our breakfast order wrong twice. The area where the hotel was is a bit run down too and I was a bit worried about leaving my car around the corner from the hotel as there was no parking spaces free outside. Probably wouldn’t stay here next year.

Great location & well presented Parking not great.
Great location and hotel itself is presented really nicely. The breakfast was really good and staff were excellent (especially the waiters/waitresses). Located literally 2 mins from beach it is a great location and saves having to drive anywhere, which is a good thing as Parking was a nightmare. We luckily found a space not too far away, but the hotel should make customers aware. Saying 'Parking available' is technically a true statement; but it is actually a case of there are parking spaces outside but these are shared with the other houses/hotels and people visiting Yarmouth, so you may be hunting around for a while. Shower cubicle in our room was a tad tight to get into. Ok if you are slim build, not an issue, just one to be aware of. Also (and this is out of the Hotels control so no bearing on them at all), there was two 'rank' (that is the only word to describe them) old fridges a few doors down from the hotel. Feel sorry for the hotel for having that outside. The hotel itself is well presented, clean and I would recommend staying there.
