Pros: Nothing.I had Full English Breakfast after only getting 3 hours sleep. The 'server' did not pay attention & brought things I specifically said not to!
Cons: Entrance and reception and ground floor areas look deceivingly 'okay' but it's when you venture into the rooms that the horrifying truth is realized!
Location: Central and 5-7 mins walk from main station and shops.
WARNING !!!! I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW AT 03:15 IN THE MORNING AFTER BEING KEPT UP ALL NIGHT WITH NOISES FROM THE NEXT DOOR ROOM AND THE DOWNSTAIRS ROOM AND THE PASSAGE OUTSIDE. Hotel is very very dated and in a bad state of disrepair. Ceilings all patched up, cracked, damp patches. Place full of drunks or worse. Floorboards really creaky, can hear everyone, everywhere as if walls made of paper. Will I get any sleep tonight ? I'm now worried about my car too incase it gets vandalised. Worse choice and worst hotel I've ever stayed at :-( :-( :-( Why hasn't it been shut down yet with all the horrid reviews from so many people ??? Signed, T.N from Ipswich, Suffolk.

Lovely local hotel with great hospitality

Posted Aug 8, 2012
Pros: Friendly atmosphere, great location, comfortable rooms, free parking and free wifi
Cons: Nothing
Location: Central location but a few minutes away from the noise of the city centre when you want a good night's sleep.
This is a lovely basic local hotel that I have stayed at many times. The staff are super efficient, very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. This place has true Norfolk hospitality! They have free parking, free wifi, satellite TV, spacious and quiet rooms with both a bathtub and shower. The hotel is clean, peaceful and comfortable. They have a small lift, restaurant and bar on the premises. I feel at home here which is rare for a hotel. The location is ideal. It's a 5 minute walk from the main train station and 5-10 minutes from the pubs, restaurants, cinemas and shops of the city centre. The river is 5 minutes away and the cathedral a 10-15 minute walk along the river path. The football ground is 15 minutes walk away.

Pros: Staff,
Cons: upgrading required
Location: convenient for city centre/football.
I spent 3 days here, and the only criticism I have is that an upgrade is required, staff were very helpful but at these prices you cant complain,I would use it again.

Hotel was ooit eigentijds in de jaren zestig

Oud en matig onderhouden gebouw. Bed redelijk, voorzieningen op de kamer matig. Ontbijt goed, maar stevig aan de prijs. Prijs-prestatieverhouding is zeer matig
