Beautiful grounds and well maintained hotel

Pros: The leisure facilities were a definite bonus, but the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: The hairdryer in the room was cheap and not easy to use.
Friendly and helpful staff, lovely surroundings, good room with a large comfortable bed. Spa, which is included in the price was wonderful with a good sized pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

Clean but noisy

Hotel was okay. Clean and reasonably comfortable. I booked an executive room which was a little bigger but to be honest i think a standard room would have been just as good. Check in Friday at 20:30 was slow as there was only one receptionist who was busy on the phone for 10 mins. Room was clean but the bathroom smelt of drains but when i asked to change room all i was offered was a standard room by the disco. Hotel was incredibly noisy and we were about as far away from the social areas as we could be and still all you could here was the thump thump thump of the disco going both Friday and Saturday night so glad we didn't take the alternative room as it would have been intolerable. It did stop at midnight thankfully. Food in the restaurant for breakfast and for Friday evening was really nice and I would recommend the fish and the steak. The selection is a little limited but really good quality. Overall i would recommend the hotel but perhaps be wary this time of the year as they had functions on every night and as already mentioned dont bother going form the more luxurios rooms as it wasnt value for money

We would disagree that our higher grade bedrooms are no different from the standard grade as they have facilities such as spa baths, separate showers, robes and slippers etc. I do hope we will have the chance to welcome you back to the hotel in the future. Comfortable friendly hotel

Great comfortable stay. Very welcoming staff and nice breakfast; the dinner range was ok and a little pricy for fir the quality but overall a very nice stay.

lovely hotel, just a few surprises.

Had a delight full stay. Would have been 5* but a couple of down points, being asked id. Not a big issue slightly irritating. Then there was a guest in a room above, next door but one, decided that it would be a lovely idea to urinate from the out side balcony, just glad he wasn't directly above us! Then in the morning of leaving at 9:45 the cleaning lady decided to let herself in to our room with no advance warning and check out wasn't until 11am. But on a good night. The pool and spa are amazing the food is unbelievable and the reception staff couldn't be more welcoming. Definitely worth a stay!

Lovely stylish hotel with good spa facilities

Pros: The food, quality and size of room, value for money, helpful and friendly staff, good spa facilities.
Cons: My room was a bit musty! Staff sorted this. The steam room wasn't very hot at all. Otherwise excellent. Really enjoyed my stay.
Location: I was moving an elderly relative into care home so didn't have any time to visit any but it was great to come back to such a comfy welcoming hotel.
Excellent experience as my trip was to move an elderly relative with dementia and clear their flat. So it was much appreciated to come back to a comfy welcoming hotel with a spa. The staff were so amenable about me being late both nights for my dinner and told me not to worry about being late. All helped to de stress me! Wonderful massage and manicure and swim and sauna! Really enjoyed my stay! Many thanks!
