Rather stay at dunston hallPosted Jul 1, 2015 on Hotels
Allocated a very dated room which has not been touched since the 80's. Gym had small selection of machines, pool was nice however the shower was not working and steam room failed to reach a good temperature. Food was APPALLING. quality of ingredients poor and chef ability lacking = horrendous room service and inedible breakfast. Sticking to dunston hall next time I'm in Norwich for business.

Dear Guest, We were disappointed to read you did not have the stay you envisioned with us and for this may we offer our apologies. However we must highlight that the hotel operates an ongoing refurbishment programme and there is not any bedrooms which have been left since the 80's. The majority of our bedrooms have had work completed within the last 5 years or less. Again it is a shame to read that you had such negative things to say about our food but we are glad this is not the general opinion from our customers. May we wish you all the best while staying with Dunston Hall. Kind regards Michael

High price stay for low budgetPosted Jun 22, 2015 on Hotels
Hope to find an excuse to go back! Arrived to be told I had been automatically upgraded and this was to a lovely spacious room with spa bath etc.. Bit late arriving and had work to do so had room service, which was really good - whitebait starter could pass for main course, good job I was hungry and ironically, hadn't ordered large main. Food was well cooked and presented and really enjoyed plus not huge uplift for room service, which helped Full breakfast included, this is buffet style but served by staff, so not dried up rubbish you can get in some other places who do it, as constantly monitored and replaced. Hope to get there earlier next time to take advantage of spa/gym etc and fingers crossed for the upgrade...! Best result yet via Hotel.com and hopefully, the price will be as good next time I need to go over that part of world

Long weekend stay hotel and spa.Posted Jun 9, 2015 on Hotels
Arrived late Friday night was welcomed friendly and shown to our room. Facilities were explained well. Breakfast was to a high standard. Are we are daily and gluten free the staff were very accommodating in our requirements. Pool sauna steam room was good. Never over crowded. Gym facilities were good also. The grounds we very well groomed but would have been nice to have a bigger area to stroll. Albeit very nice.we tried to book spa treatments in advanced this was the only let down as they were fully booked so we missed out sadly.

A stylish an.d comfortable stayPosted Jun 7, 2015 on Hotels
A wonderful nights stay. I think anyone would struggle to better the style and comfort this place has to offer. The room (very spacious) was full of all the needs you would require for a stay here. the breakfast was of a high standard and choice. I would recommend another stay in the future. Well worth the money.

Watch your Food & Drinks costs !!!Posted Jun 1, 2015 on Hotels
We had a short break from Tuesday to Saturday in May 2015. The staff can't do enough for you and the whole place helped to create a lovely embiance. The cost of drinks and food however was very high so we ate out in the main.
