Location is good, but that's pretty much it

The hotel was undergoing renovation when I stayed. The workers were loud, the fumes were stinky, and they burst into our room one morning at 10:30. Just came on in without knocking. The bed seemed like something was loose about the frame, but I couldn't find anything when I looked under there. Conference areas were nice, and the club access lounge was fabulous. Loved having access to breakfast and snacks in the afternoons. That was nice. Hope it gets better when the renovations are finished.

Two night stay

Pros: Location.
Cons: Maid service. My wife is a late sleeper. We let the room about noon and returned at 4 pm to change clothes and maid service had not happened.
This a decent hotel. When I was there it was very busy. They had enough front desk staff (4) so the check-in and checkout wait was not long.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, but the hotel staff made our visit terrific! So friendly and helpful, really above and beyond! We will stay here again.

I paid almost 300$$$ negative hotel

I was unable to get my credit for being a gov employee My tub failed to drain well I didn't like not having a frig n my room Only one man to do valet and bell service Paid extra for water view and was put on corner and could only see a fraction of the water. The balcony opened to the street I work for Ssa and many of my co workers were interested in how I enjoyed my stay Which I did not and will never stay they again

Dirty rooms and bug bites

This was the worst hotel experience...We had to change rooms multiple times, the first because they put us in the wrong room type, second room had not been cleaned (dirty diaper in trash) and the third and final room was in serious need of an update. The headboard was pealing apart and the mini fridge was shoved back in the corner behind a chair. The worst part was waking up and my six year old had bug bites all over his elbow and leg. The bites started out as tiny red spots that over the last 24 hrs have swollen into ten dime size red puffy spots. Do not recommend at all!!!

Stayed the night of Saturday June, 17th. BE AWARE, THE HOTEL IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN LOBBY AND ROOM FLOORS. I didn't see any warning of this and became very aware just a few steps into the Sheraton's doors. Loud sawing and hammering until 5pm. I went to check in and asked about the lobby being in disarray and was confronted with a throw-away explanation by the front desk staff who was completely unconcerned with my experience at the hotel they represent. I tell them that I'll make due. The two desk associates then tell me that the room I booked (for well over $200) with two queen beds was unavailable and they would give me one king and a pull out. I told them this wasn't what I payed for, nor would the accommodations be sufficient for my friend and I. I was met with an "oh, well" response. I told the desk I wanted to cancel my reservation and would like a refund and was told I would have to talk to hotels.com. This is the moment I became completely faithful with this website/booking agent. I spoke with two employees who were nothing but great. They understood my plight and offered me a refund. They also offered me a price matching with hotels in the area or a relocation within the hotel itself. Well, guess what? Hotels.com contacted the hotel, notified them of my cancelation approval and all of a sudden a room with two queens and a city view popped up out of nowhere. Thanks hotels.com! Sheraton, Norfolk, you suck. I have stayed their twice and I will never stay again.

Hotel is under rennovation and 4 months behind schedule. Really loud lobby and dust everywhere. Bed in room was broken. Hotel not apologetic. Room not ready to check in.

Good, not great.

Everything was good except the room was not ready until after 6 the day when checked in which was annoying since we were meeting friends at 6 downtown...
