We take this feedback seriously. Norfolk Island is a subtropical destination with humidity and it is impossible to guarantee that there won't be the odd cockroach despite all our best efforts. Besides regular professional pest control, our housekeeping service is the considered the best on the island, which is why no other guest has ever complained about cockroaches. The review is not balanced, and the guest mentions absolutely nothing else, like the central location, enjoying the fastest and most reliable internet on the island, or the great onsite service, or the massage shower, or heated swim spa pool, day spa, spa baths, or the resort rent cars available.

We inform every guest when they check in that their unit can be serviced as often as they like. We usually do this midway through the guest stay, but encourage guests to let us know if they need more or less frequent servicing. We have housekeeping onsite very day to take care of any guest needs. If we failed to provide any servicing on this occasion, it is very unfortunate and we are deeply sorry. We also encourage guests in a notice posted in every villa to let us know during their stay if anything is not meeting their expectations, so we can rectify this during their stay, not after their stay when it is too late.

The resort is completely modern and very well maintained. We are very proud of our excellent reputation. Unfortunately the guest asked us to do one load of laundry for them without any separation. The dye leaked from one of their garments.

Every single villa has been extensively renovated with spa baths, massage showers, full stainless steel kitchens, king beds, Egyptian cotton linen, 1000 thread count sheets, etc. surpassing most resorts. With onsite tour desk, onsite reception 7 days per week, housekeeping available every day, onsite Day Spa, Massages, Free Wi-Fi throughout, heated swim spa pool, rentals cars provided including convertible, etc. the list goes way beyond any usual resort.
