Great location close to shops and restaurants. Great pool and hot tub. Love the restaurant decor with a huge Bounty replica. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Kids loved the billiards and ping pong tables. Beds were comfortable with big rooms. Lovely grounds and view.

This was very close to the main shopping area.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Close to shops and cafes. Good position
Cons: Would maybe the dining area opened for lunch.
Location: Good location, main area. Walking distance to eating places. Would have been better with street lighting.
All the local people, veryfriendly and easy to talk talk, helpful. Restaurants very good. The Tours were all very informative. Also hired a car to get around pretty east

Biggest Hotel in town.

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: We thought the hire car price offer from the front reception desk was really good.
Cons: Starting with AIR CONDITIONING (none on the Island) only ceiling fans swirling the hot air around. The road surface was shocking, pot holes everywhere
Location: The town shops are in walking distance, but beware they close down by 8pm. All closed mid-day Saturday and all day Sunday.Best to book tours these days
The hotel facilities were 60/40 with the 60% being outdated, the pool area was modern as was the front reception but you don't sleep in these areas.

Hotel was central to shops restaurants ,supermarket. We enjoyed the pool area, clean well appointed, staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay at the South Pacific again and recommend it to my friends. We enjoyed the tropical setting, especially the wondering roosters and chickens, gave the hotel a farm flavour! Alicja Melbourne Aust.

Comfortable hotel close to all amenities

Posted Jul 6, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Walking distance to Burnt Pine township which gave plenty of different dining, drinking and shopping experiences
Cons: The restaurant was closed for refurbishment so didn't get the opportunity to try their cooking.
Location: Norfolk Island is a fantastic destination with a fascinating and compelling history. Awesome views from all around the island and plenty to do.
Friendly staff keen to help. Welcome drinks on first night gave opportunity to meet other guests. Plenty of different tour options to enjoy the fascinating history of settlement. Great views all round the island and excellent food.

Easy option in Burnt Pines

Posted Feb 23, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed Feb 2015. Rooms 11 (twin) and 13 (queen)- comfortable, recently renovated. Hotel is well located, can walk to local RSL club and restaurants. Pool looked inviting but too windy to try. Did not eat in hotel. Parking is located a distance from rooms. Definitely need car on NI!
