I prefer Aloft hotels when I am limited on options. The hotel is conveniently located to many restaurants and down the street from both an indoor mall and a number of strip malls.

Staff were great. Unfortunately, we had many issues with our stay. One being, when we first got there they told us that our room would be downgraded because they were sold out. That defeats the whole reason for a reservation. Then our air conditioning system did not work in our room. There was an old coffee in our fridge upon arrival. The iron board was completely bent. The chair to the desk had so many stains on it. Events in the hotel were also cancelled during our stay. We typically stay with Marriott, but we may consider somewhere else next time.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was wonderful. My only concern was that on my second night, I could smell weed on my floor. This really concerned me as I have very bad reactions from the fumes. I had to put my towels at the bottom of my door. Not good! I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning and they said, if it happens again, call us immediately. I was glad to hear that! All in all the stay was great. Thank you.

Nice and friendly staff but…
Second stay here. We love live music, even tipped the musician. However, we did not like that we had to listen to it in our room as we had an early morning and were ready to go to sleep. The music also seemed to bring in a loud group enjoying the bar. Again, all good, unless you can hear it when trying to sleep. The room was also too warm, adjusting the thermostat did not change the temperature.

First of all our room was very cold. Turn the thermostat to 82° its highest point. Exited to viist my brother for thanks Thanksgiving. Returned several hours latet with no change. Reported this to the front desk! Very apologetic but couldn't solve the problem. Offered extra blankets for the night. Next morning moved us to another room! My fiancee complained the entire night about freezing. It was more comfortable in the hall outside of the room.

I have a more bad to say than good. The lady at the front desk was really nice to me (name starts with a P). However, when I got to my room, I was disappointed. The buttons from the phone in the room were missing so I couldn’t even call to the front desk to tell them how humid my room was when I walked in so I had to walk downstairs to tell her to adjust the room to AC. I booked for a king sized bed and got a double queen bed and wasn’t even notified. For my troubles, Ms.P said she would load some points to my account,I haven’t seen them yet. I’m not sure if I will be returning here.
