wonderful relaxation

Pros: the roominess
Cons: nothing
Location: literally blocks from the beach
we drive cross country so finding a relaxing spot means a lot to us we drive an 18 wheeler so it means a Lot when we can find parking this place had it all thanks expedia

Pros: Nothing
Cons: A complete remodel
Location: Did not stay in area after checking out too upset
Place was awful. Refused to give us a receipt upon check out. Was told that they couldn't because it was a third party booking. Place looked like a welfare residence. Dirty, and unappealing grounds and hallways. Guests lounging outside rooms drinking beer and one person had door open with TV blasting. We were stuck there as our reservation was non refundable. First room we were given , the curtains were hanging off the rod and would not close, phone in room did not work, smelled, bathroom was questionable. Place was certainly not up to our standards. We complained to desk clerk, After some back and forth with her ). she offered us a room in their "deluxe" area....we looked at the room, did not find any thing deluxe about it. Was a little cleaner so we agreed to change rooms. Got out of there fast in the morning. I am very surprised that Expedia has this place listed on their site. I have booked our hotels with Expedia for many years. This is the first time I have been disappointed , mad, and upset. We paid a good price here for sub-standard accommodations. Makes me want to not use your service in the future and just book direct with the hotels.

Great if you need the convention center

The staff was very friendly but the room was very outdated and for the price I paid It would have been nice to have more. the toilet was not attached to the floor and while I was away on my first day there it flooded. The staff moved us to a nicer/remodeled room but the hassle and the invasion of coming back to your room that you left a do no disturb on, having the curtains open to the whole world and the lights left on was a little unsettling.

Stay Away

Poor cancellation policy, governor of VA declared state of emergency and asked people not to travel, still had to pay for room

One night stay. Great price and close to the beach for the music festival only there to sleep. Room had been updated a little but microwave dirty and pet hair in the floor

Hotel is good.

Pros: Large and clean room, micro-fridge, free parking.
Cons: Free continental breakfast would be a definite plus.
Location: Close to beach (10-15 minutes walking)
Not on the beach, but within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone looking for a large room equipped with micro-fridge and also for free parking.

Web pics are fake! Run away!

I paid over $200 a night to stay at this motel. It is not a hotel and should be classified as such. It should have been priced no more than $75 a day. It looks old and run down and it was totally out of my style. The pictures on the Internet to advertise must be fake as it's not what you get.
