It was great. The only issue we had was that the pillows on the bed are so small they are square instead of rectangle. On a king sized bed. Luckily we found more in a drawer. Other than that, it was perfect!

Highly recommend if you have events to attend at the Va Beach Convention Center. The Hotel is within walking distance. I felt we were central to attractions and events. This place was extremely clean, breakfast was great and the staff go above to make sure all your needs are meet. We will definitely book here again.

This is a great oceanfront hotel. We stayed for Easter weekend on the 9th floor. The hotel room was very clean and spacious for two. We could hear kids above us on floor 10, though, which was not ideal. It seems like the walls and ceilings are thin. The breakfast was your normal continental breakfast; they do have a gourmet coffee machine, which is nice. The hotel does offer free parking; you can access the first few floors from the parking garage area to get to your room and elevator. They do have a hot tub that we did not have time to enjoy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel again the next time we visit the VA Beach area.

The staff at Coastal is absolutley fabulous! Neal took care of everything. The check in/out was easy. Great communication & suggestions. STUNNING views from room. Super clean & fresh! Comfortable & spacious for us. Very pleased with this gem right in middle of the Boardwalk. We will book again!

Felt very comfortable and safe there the staff very friendly. The staff servicing the breakfast area very professional and provide excellent service. Very clean and was able to sleep without the terrible noise of a minie split heating/AC unit.

Loved that there were 2 sleeping spaces with beds. Right on the boardwalk with lots of activity to watch while sitting on the balcony. Nice breakfast!

It was perfect for a night of relaxation and quiet (I went on a weeknight, the boardwalk is likely louder on the weekends). I did not hear any neighbors. The sweet lady with blonde hair and pink lipstick at breakfast found out I was my birthday and gave me a sparkling cider as a birthday gift on behalf of the hotel. I loved that. Give her a raise. My only complaint is they say they have a heated pool but it was cold when I went.

We can't say enough good about this hotel! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room and entire hotel was so clean. Housekeeping was great! The breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had at a hotel. The room was set up great with 2 king beds and a private balcony. We saw dolphins jumping in the water from our balcony. We were able to walk to dinner, shops and along the boardwalk or beach easily. The room was so close to the beach- we had a perfect vacation! Price was great. We will definitely return!

Area is a little sketchy at night. When we booked we were not notified that the road would be closed for the morning due to the an event. We were only notified a few days before our stay. We had to adjust our travel and leave much earlier than expected. Too expensive for the quality.

Not sure what you’re expecting. It’s a beachfront property and perfect for the beach. Not luxury but clean and comfortable

The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk was not so friendly. Room was alright. It looked like it had a fast touch up and messy paint job. Toilet seat was scraped and scratched. Tub shower walls had something splattered on them. Tub had whatever on walls in tub. Had to clean it before we used it.

You can't beat the location -- 8th floor of a beachfront hotel with floor-to-ceiling views of the ocean. We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The breakfasts were ample and the staff were all friendly.

I appreciated that each bedroom had a king size bed and that the ocean view was beautiful. However, there were a couple of things I didn’t like. For being on the water and for what we paid, I expected nicer toiletries. That may sound weird, but I hate being given the awful little cakes of bar soap. And the conditioner was gross. Also, the walls were really paper thin.

The price of this hotel was unbeatable for a two room suite with two kings - perfect for our family to give everyone some space. The parking garage doors lead straight into your floor, which is lovely. The staff were all friendly and exceptionally helpful. When I left my laptop in my room at checkout, they called immediately upon finding it and set it aside at the front desk without being asked. Rooms were recently updated and very clean. We will definitely stay again.

I stayed for Valentine’s Day. The best hotel ever! So clean and beautiful. The fact that it was so roomy. Bedroom separates from the huge living room. The big glass walls to watch the ocean all day long! Husband and I wished we could have stayed longer, but we definitely coming back!

The breakfast staff is so nice, going above and beyond to be welcoming and kind. The housekeepers and front desk were great, as well. This is the most convenient hotel we have stayed at in VA Beach, but it was the warmness of the staff that will have us come back again.
