I cleaning crew is mainly younger women but they clean like older dolls. Spic and span always. When you get off the elevator it just smells like fresh laundry.

Do NOT stay here! We checked in late on 3/1 after traveling after work all evening. The entire hotel smelled of weed. We got to our room and our two queen beds were small full beds that sank in the middle. It was mold covered in the bathroom, the sheets were questionable, the toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet and the rug was coming up. We found a different hotel down the road (that was CLEAN) and left. I am still working on my refund but the mold photos I have from the room should help me get that. The hotel looks nice in photos but it was not even close to clean and did not feel safe AT ALL.

My family and I checked in on Friday night 3/1 at 1am after flying in from New York. We initially booked a suite room because it was going to be 4 of us sleeping in the room. When we arrived at the hotel, we were made aware that they had downgraded our room to a regular double bed room in which we paid for a suite. The front desk advised us that it was a note placed on the account earlier in the day and but we were not notified prior to arrival. It was 2am and we did not have another hotel to go to so we decided to go inside the room. We were settling in the room and all of a sudden we see a huge roach crawling on the dresser. The sheets were dingy and the hotel room just made us very uncomfortable. We immediately went down to the front desk and the employee told us that we were going to have to find somewhere to stay because that’s the only room she had. She had no authority in giving us a refund for the room. We then had to wait for the morning staff to communicate with us on our refund for the room. People live in this hotel. Maybe they operate as a shelter. I’m not sure but if you are going Norfolk please be aware that this hotel is very unsafe and unprofessional. This hotel has ongoing traffic all night. We were leaving this hotel at 3am and people were coming in and out. This hotel and the staff needs more training on customer service. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!
