No housekeeping during stay, over priced

Pros: The staff was really nice
Cons: Overpriced and lack of housekeeping
The staff is very nice. The location is nice, but terribly overpriced. The "resort" does not offer housekeeping during your stay, which we were never told. The heat/cold in the rooms is very hard to control either unbearably hot or cold. Toilet seats were cracked and disgusting.

Drone surveillance

Pros: The best part was how quickly they responded to problems. On 5 Nov I spotted a drone with a camera about 20 feet from the windows of the room next door to ours on the 15th floor. I went outside and spotted the two guys who were controlling the drone and yelled down at them. They heard and saw me and quickly moved the drone away and climbed away from the hotel. I called the concierge and they responded very quickly sending a man outside to confront the drone controllers. Even tho it only took a minute to respond the drone had just landed when the hotel representative showed up and talked to them. I don't know what he said but they left the area immediately. Nice response by the hotel!
Cons: At this time of year they do not serve any breakfast.

Pros: great view and location/ nice pool area/clean/modern/plan to come back in season
Cons: the pool was in the shade early in the day due to the large hotel on the right
Location: near so much/walking distance to many nice eating places on the board walk - we didnt even drive to go out

The staff was great! The best part was that the hotel was right off of the beach and right near a number of diners that were in walking distance. They also had a daily schedule of activities that they put together with the hotel next door (for children and adults). So, after you park your car in the garage across the street you would not have to drive much unless that was your desire. Heads up: the only thing Expedia did not warn me about was the $100 hold fee that is placed on top of the nightly resort fee, but the hold is released at check out. Overall, my and my boyfriend's experience was great and I would definitely go back if in the area again.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: Close to the beach with full kitchen and dining area.
Very nice except for naval planes flying over head all day. Would have preferred not having to be bothered with resort sales people trying to sell you time/vacation shares.

Small room for a big price at the beach

Upon arriving to the hotel, the entrance was packed with vehicles. Once getting the room keys, had to walk through two sets of doors to get to the actual room that was too small for the price paid. Traveling with a small child you would expect a little more hotel room space in a so called family resort. The hair dryer was not operational, no face cloths were provided in the bathroom, the room telephone did not have a dial tone, and the door handle to the door needed to be replaced.

Didn't see a cleaning person in five days.

Pros: Clean when we got there, room well designed
Cons: Had to wait 45 minutes to check in. Only had one person working front desk, and 4 people standing around trying to get you to sales pitch meeting.
Location: Lots of beach, very nice board walk and some good foods.
Room was nice. Stayed five days and room was never cleaned and had to use the same towels every day. Also had 3 phone calls to go to a sales pitch meeting. Good location, and enjoyed the area.

Staycation

Pros: Location.
Cons: Check the light fixtures and the furniture. Provide more towels.
We had a studio room and it was on the 2nd floor facing the city. The view from our room was fine except for the trash on the roof right below our balcony. The queen bed seemed more like a full size bed. There was only two towels to use for the both of us for the weekend. We had a table in our room that was extremely wobbly so much so we didn't want to place anything on it. There was a light out in our bathroom above the sink. Overall, it wasn't awful but it wasn't great either.
