Good location, bad experience

The front desk staff was very rude at check-in and we didn't get our room until over an hour later than the posted expedia check-in time. After we checked in, they told us to go to the concierge for a "goodie bag." The goodie bag was just a bunch of brochures on their other resorts and an attempt to get us to purchase another stay. When we declined, the concierge left us a message on our room voicemail asking us to come down so they could walk us through the check-out process. When I went to the concierge they didn't have any info on the check-out process -- it was just another attempt to try to get us to book another vacation. There was no cleaning service available during the stay, even though you are charged a nightly "resort fee" - no fresh towels, no bed making. When I called the front desk to ask for clean towels after our 3rd night, I was informed that their laundry hadn't come back and I would not be able to get towels until 10pm that night. When they finally brought new towels, they gave us two bath towels (no wash cloths or hand towels) and they left the dirty towels on the bathroom floor.

Pros: location to the beach
Cons: clean the pool more often and keep plenty of towels on hand. I had to wait for a towel while at the pool for several hours
Location: The location is great. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby
The rooms were okay. The cleanliness was so, so. While swimming in the pool things were floating by me. The staff was friendly. The real plus was the proximity to the beach.

Hotel is right on the beach

When I arrived there was only one person working the front desk. Then I made reservations for ocean view 2 bedroom suite. Well they didn't have any oceanview suites left. Then they gave me city view and didnt offer any discount.

Air condition/heater was not connected properly and found bags of empty cookies in ottoman. Staff super nice and good food.

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice sized rooms and they are quiet. I couldn't here anyone else during our stay. The room was a little dated, but the price made up for that. Location is great, but so is any of the hotel/resorts in that area. Great heated pools, both indoor and outdoors. I just wish that the front desk and reservation's personnel would have been more helpful when we asked if we could get an extra day there. We ended up next door at the Hilton. They refused to match our current pricing and we even found out that the room we were in was available for that day. Hugely disappointed in that.

Cons: Get this Hotel off the Expedia choices
Location: ??
I am not sure if I should be upset with Expedia or with the Hotel. I was given the option by Expedia to pick a Hotel not a Timeshare option. I am used to and expected traditional Hotel Service. This did not happen. No one came to clean the room. I was not even sure where to empty the trash. We were given towels and told they would be changed out every seven days. You could get more towels but for a $10.00 fee. Too many hidden expentures.

Hotel okay but showing wear and tear

Kitchen not cleaned, door broken upon arrival, furniture stained and torn, great location though and served purpose for a night

One thing really made me mad

A great stay and a great hotel except for one thing, they don't clean the room until you leave, or you pay extra. That's angers me off since you're already paying a daily "resort fee" which is controversial enough. Seriously??? I get charged a resort fee and you won't clean the room??

The amenities at the hotel are great, and I was in walking distances of some great food spots, I will definitely revisit
