I love the ocean view. The rooms are nice, but the double beds are smaller than a double bed more like a large twin size bed.

This hotel is under construction. Elevators out of service, pool area closed, missing paint on all of the walls, hallways unfinished floors etc. staff unprofessional. Parking garage is across and down the street so be prepared to carry your bags. Tv in the room didn’t work. I would avoid booking here until renovations are complete

OMG, I literally walked into the room and walked right back out. There was no way I would be able to sleep in this dust-filled, stained sofa room with no flooring and total construction outside the door complete with concrete dust being swept up at night causing choking on the fine particles. Disgusting.

This property was a complete joke! First off, we arrived there at a little after 3pm. (check in is at 4) I had asked for an early check in and was told they do not offer an early check in (even though on the site it states they do for a fee). So we returned at 4. Once check in we found the hotel was under construction (not pre-stated on the site) But found the conditions to be utterly disgusting! The halls not under construction stained and littered. The parts under construction had waste and material just thrown about (creating a hazard). We found the stairwell the leads to our floor from the boardwalk had no lock to the outside and there were water bottles, beer cans and even socks littered at the bottom inside the door. The room itself was ok (not horrible) but the A/C would not work and they sent a gentleman up who got it working with a coat hanger. Our balcony was cover with plaster from the ongoing construction. To top it off the staff was not very pleasant. I expect so much more from a national chain such as Quality Inn, ESPECIALLY one being located at the Virginia Beach Ocean Front!!! We took photos of everything and would be happy to share them with anyone.

I was not informed the hotel was under renovation.Construction dump site was parked along the driveway of the hotel.The hotel entrance front door was not working.The hotel should not accept reservation while repair is ongoing for safety reason.Buffet breakfast was good.

Where do I begin, first the property never stated it was under remodel, the place was a complete dump, pictures of stains on the couch, stains on walls and cig butts in sink and the smell of smoke for the 2 days I had let them know we have to change rooms but they said they were sold out, if I had a chance to get another hotel I would have.We sucked it up but super disappointed in the hotel, I know of others that were disgusted

It would have been nice to know in advance that a big part of the hotel was under construction. The floors to our room was concrete the walls were sheetrock. Our room was fine except no couch as pictures showed (just a big empty spot). We asked about it and was told we didnt have one because of the construction. Bathroom shower had no shelf/place to put shampoo etc. Bathroom outlet did not work. Staff around hotel was friendly front desk not as much.

Not much of a hot breakfast selection, there were 2 different cereals, waffles and toast/bagels. My heat didn't work in the room (yes the heat 😂 it was in the 50s my whole visit) I had it at 80. Other than that it was decent.

Property was nice and clean. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. They are currently doing construction so that’s the only thing that woke me up haha but other all a great stay and will book again! Had an ocean view and a balcony to enjoy the sounds and breeze.

The staff was fine, the room was clean. The bathroom soap was the tiniest I've ever seen. The hotel is under renovation (still) so its very noisy during the day. The balcony door made an extremely loud noise when opened. The parking lot is a half block away & costs $10. Very inconvenient to check in because there is no place to park.

My wife and I had made arrangements to drive down through obx to hatteras as our Valentine’s Day gift to our selfs . So no kids just us first real break in 4 years ( 4 kids Ages11-1). As we’re driving she books a killer deal and dose not realize she booked the hotel in Virginia Beach ,VA where we live not the one in the obx or Nc , we stopped for gas and looked over the itinerary and realized what had happened , we called the hotel would answer then put us on hold till we hung up over 25 min of waiting and I called back 3 times Same thing and online that killer deal had a non refundable clause even through it sold us a $4.99 protection plan in case something like this happened but I guess they got me . Didn’t even offer to change the date or reschedule just took my money so we stayed somewhere . Enjoy

When made reservation to the hotel, i call to see if they had smoking rooms, he said they did, i said i would make reservation with Expedia and call and give him the reservation # which i did and he said the smoking room was reserve for me, when i arrived to the hotel there was a long line with only one front desk person working, it to me 45 minutes to check in, when i was able to check in the clerk said there were no smoking room at all, i told him I call the and the clerk on duty at the time i made reservation said there was, if i had decline the room i would had lost my payment where i paid up front, there were other customer that was complaining also that they had reserve smoking room also and if they did not want the room they would lose their deposit also, not a good day, I think the clerk said there were smoking room, get us there pay up front for the room knowing we could not get our money back, will i come back to this hotel NO,,

Not a clean hotel.
The hotel was extremely dirty. No place to sit and just talk with other people you were there with. The rugs in the hallway were disgusting. Black mold in the bathroom. Broken chair in the room. Chair on the deck. Sheets were did not feel good we went to the store. The people were nice enough. The person in the room was very kind. The shower was pretty nice.

Nice staff but subpar hotel.
I hate to leave a negative review with such a kindly staffed place, but the hotel isn’t quite up to par. Breakfast: has a variety of options for what to eat, but missing the extra touch you expect from a beach front hotel. Eggs and meat aren’t everyday (we apparently were a day late for that type of breakfast); no flavored creamers for coffee; only plain flavored bagels, etc. A guest brought their dog into the dining area for the entire meal. Bathroom: had splatters of filth on the walls and mirror; the facet and handles weren’t cleaned at all; the toilet had pee filth running down the front and the top lid was completely dirty; door trim was coming off the wall; shower has no wall shelves or catty to place toiletries. Room: pool facing rooms have 0 privacy if curtains open to see the ocean bc every pool facing room can see into your room and vice versa; curtains don’t fully close and also the curtains cover up the heater/ac, we had to jimmy something up with the broken ironing board to keep the heat flowing into the room and not behind the curtains; sheets and towels are bleached but not washed after so you smell bleach when sleeping. Check-in: extremely small area to park to ck-in and $10 parking (off site); nothing given with keys to give you any info about the place like Wi-Fi or breakfast location or times, etc. Positives: kind staff; some modern updates like bathroom mirror and the entertainment center in the bedroom; complimentary brkfst with beach view.
