On the Beach

Pros: Location
Cons: Better entrance to the East building.
Location: Beach was nice. All other activities were about 10 - 20 min driving distance.
Location was good. Access to the building we were in was not good. Walk up shallow steps with luggage, or up a too steep ramp that was covered with wrinkled carpet. There was no chair in the room - finally called housekeeping and then they brought a chair. Lighting in the room was poor for reading. Had to call housekeeping for towels. Bathroom was tiny - no place to put clothes when changing, not even a hook on the door. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location, wonderful restaurant, and friendly staff. Room was spacious and moderately clean. Outdoor pool area was small. Check in wasn't until 4, and we, along with others, didnt have our rooms available until after 5 pm. We were only staying one night, so we paid a lot of money for a bed to sleep in.

I enjoyed my stay over the weekend! I loved the view! Food at the grille: cold poached eggs.

Most amazing view! Very clean hotel! Loved it! Definitely will be staying here in the near future! I love the fact it is not on tbe boardwalk! The indoor/outdoor pools were very relaxing too!

We left 2 days early. The biting flies on the beach were just terrible. Of course the hotel cold not help that. They moved us twice before get a room that our poodle could stay in. The front desk staff were incompitent. Could find the reservation, put us in a not dog friendly room twice! The restaurant was very good.

Poorly maintained/ unexpexted charges

Get there and check in we are told they will be holding $20 a night on our credit card until we check out. Got to our room open the door go to turn the light on the lights burn out try to call the front desk to get the light fixed and the phone doesn't work. The room was ice cold so went to change the temperature setting on the air conditioning and it is also broken it stays on full blast all the time. No continental breakfast. Upon checkout the lady told us they actually charged our card $20 a night for our stay instead of putting a hold on our card and that it would be 5 to 7 days to refund our money. Worst hotel I've ever been to

Hot tub was warm Kids in hot tub no adult watching Dogs galore on beach Dogs not on leash People smoking on beach Carpet was dirty Outdated appliances
