This unique vacation home is not only homely furnished but we have also thought of everything to provide you with a fantastic stay. You will experience a lot of comfort, including a dishwasher, and you can sleep comfortably in the characteristic box bed. The hooikiep is located on the campsite close to all amenities. The playground and swimming pool are located near your vacation home. Just a little bit different and fun for both young and old!

The story behind the HooikiepHooikiep is the Drenthe term for hooikiep. This charming, unique vacation home in Drenthe is built in a very authentic way. In the past, hooikiep were used to store hay, straw, or grain. Four wooden poles supported the thatched roof, which could move up and down depending on the amount of feed to be stored. Now it serves as a unique vacation home where you can have an unforgettable time. The feeling of old-fashioned comfort has been preserved and combined with the luxury of today.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken in het restaurant. Een prima fiets gehuurd en gefietst door een prachtige omgeving. De broodjes werden zaterdag en zondag gebracht. Ideaal om zo je dag te beginnen. We zijn warm welkom geheten op de camping. Bij binnenkomst in het huisje (hooikiep) zagen we direct

We zijn warm welkom geheten op de camping. Bij binnenkomst in het huisje (hooikiep) zagen we direct dat het huisje verzorgd en schoon was. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Onze kinderen (in de leeftijden 4 tot 12 jaar) hebben zich heerlijk vermaakt in het (overdekte) zwembad, de speeltuin, de kabelbaan die in de bossen op het bungalowpark staat, én bij de animatie-momenten. Bij een lichtjestocht voor de kinderen stond er bij terugkomst warme chocolademelk en glühwein klaar. Zo leuk! Hoogtepunt van ons verblijf was de laatste avond waarop er een foodtruckfestival op de camping was georganiseerd. Erg gezellig en top verzorgd!! We komen graag nog eens terug!
