Great location and breakfastPosted Jan 1, 2018 on Hotels
The hotel is basic, but clean and in a great location, only 4 mins walk from the central station. They offer a great breakfast also catering for gluten and lactose intolerance!!

Dear Sirs, We do not have minibars or a tea kettle in our standard rooms. Hot water, coffee and tea are always provided with our compliments in our restaurant. I hope we however will have the pleasure of seeing you here again, Best regards Team Jörgen Kock

The good: - Fantastic location, close to train station - Good breakfast - Good Wifi - Helpful staff The slightly iffy: - Very basic and old, including mattresses, but clean - No tea/coffee in room - Wanted to borrow iron/ironing board from reception, when I was initially told that the other guests had them The unacceptable: - I was staying for 5 nights and was initially put up in a room with a broken main large window that didn't close properly. Only realised this when the stormy weather outside kept opening the window resulting in the room being freezing. Told the staff about it the following day and to my surprise the hotel staff knew about it as it was the result of somebody having broken the window previously. I believe the room should not have been used unless the window was fixed. I was told there were no other free rooms in the hotel and one of the hotel staff tried to fix the problem through various means including covering the window opening by towels. Although the interaction was perfectly pleasant and the staff apologised for the inconvenience. I followed this up the next day, when my room was changed to one without a broken window. I was again slightly surprised that having been put up in an absolutely freezing room with a broken window for 2 nights, no attempt was made to refund part of the fees or at least make a token gesture of offering me a free drink or anything!
